You and Mello should 100 percent check out another Adam Sandler movie...top choice would probably be 50 First Dates, but I think Big Daddy would also be to see a react to. 💯✌

For continuity´s sake, you should try Little Nicky next. I know, Adam Sandler made a fool of himself in that, similar to The Waterboy, which I couldn´t stand, but literally EVERYONE and EVERYTHING else in the movie is great!

Richard Kiel, the actor who plays Mr Larson, was in a bad car accident that left him unable to walk properly without a cane. So if you notice, in every scene he's leaning on something or has his hand on someone's shoulder for support. When he's "running" at the end of the movie, he's actually just waving his arms and they're not filming his lower half. Super nice guy and a real shame he was in so much pain after that accident.

However, I would have a hard time choosing my favourite Sandler comedy between Gilmore and Madison. Hard to pick a favourite as his comedy and dramatic performances scratch very different itches.

me and my buddies were to a house party years ago when people put this movie in the VCR, I think it was about 1 year after the movie came out in the cinemas. it was late at night we had been drinking obviously but we all had just gotten high on weed about 20 min earlier. All I remember is laughing for so long and hard with them that it seemed like we missed 90 percent of the movie because one scene alone would have us all to the point of no sound coming out of our mouths for 20 min at a time. It is in the top 3 moments of my life for the hardest and longest I had ever laughed continuously.

Do you think Chubbs losing his arm to a "lizard" was a "in joke" about Carl Weathers character losing his arm to The Predator? In Predator, Dillion (Weathers), when listening to Anna say the "Jungle, it came alive and took him", and something about it changing colours like the Chameleon, he asks her "Are you saying Hawkins was killed by a fucking lizard? No, there's 2 or 3 men out there, tops."

Also, I know, I probably didn´t mention it for quite a while now........ But the German dub for this movie is EXCELLENT! They hadn´t quite found the "main" voice actor for Adam Sandler yet, but in this he´s voiced by a guy, who usually speaks Keanu Reeves´ parts. And he´s just got GREAT comedic timing, which is something you usually can´t notice all that much in Keanu Reeves movies..........
@chanceneck80723 жыл бұрын
Now that I thought about it, this movie really is a prime example to show people, if you wanna make them get into German dubs. I mean, I would even consider it better than the original at parts, I´m not kidding. My English is pretty much perfect, so I can fairly compare the two. And Sandler´s line delivery is definitely top notch in the original already. It´s just something about the dub, man. Just thinking about it makes me laugh MY ASS OFF.... You should definitely try ít out if you can, I bet you´d be pleasantly surprised, because it goes a lot against the typical German stereotype of sounding totally harsh and humorless.......
