Fun fact, in NASCAR, one of the rules state that whenever a racer needs a relief driver during the race to finish it for him or her, wherever that relief driver finishes, the driver the relef is filling in for also gets credit for the finishing position. That includes winning the race

Doc’s part in this movie was done entirely with unused archive recordings of Paul Newman from the first movie. I can’t think of a bigger tribute to both the actor and the character. I'm so glad we got to see him one last time. Overall, I love that the movie returns to its motorsport roots, the more realistic and mature ending, and its message about finding a new purpose in the field you love.

I think they're pretty subtle about it, but it's definitely implied that Lightning never thought he couldn't race because no one ever told him he couldn't. Cruz is told she can't constantly, so it's no wonder she doubts herself.

Keep in mind Jackson is a Hybrid and is made from light weight materials so is why he's so good but those and fancy aerodynamics ofc, he also seems to run on Electro Fuel as the trailer that reveals him & his exaughst shows more faint or whatever it is combustion compared to Lightning.

Cars 3 is the best of the franchise in my opinion. This one focuses more on racing, something that the past two films didn’t really focus on that much. McQueen training Cruz is very entertaining to see since he’s basically doing what Doc taught him in the first film. Speaking of Doc, I love that they showed flashbacks of him as well as using archival recordings of Paul Newman.

Cars 3 is my most favorite of the franchise. This film brought out real human emotions and trauma like in the real world. This is most of a former rookie now feeling washed-up in a new generation. I'm glad I get to watch the entire movie in the cinema when it was first released. I remember being shocked the first time I saw McQueen crash in the teaser trailer and I'm intrigued to find out. This movie is a perfect tribute for Doc Hudson cuz the viewers get to know what he did in the past such as doing the flip trick. Doc passed away prior to the events of Cars 2 due to the voice actor's death. It's a good thing that they kept Paul Newman's archive recordings of Doc Hudson from the first movie that later be used for the third one.

Great reaction! I haven't seen Cars 3 in a long while, but I do remember finding it surprisingly good. I still remember the teaser trailer for it. 13-year-old me was traumatized by seeing a character from my childhood violently crash all of a sudden. Thankfully, the movie was way better than I thought it would be. It's definitely a significant improvement over Cars 2, in my opinion.

Cars 3 is freakin awesome apart from the first one it’s one of the best from the franchise and to me the real sequel ❤️ this one is literally is the student becomes the master kind of movie 😊although it does make me sad that McQueen is not racing anymore I love that he takes Cruz under his wing and becomes her mentor and I’m also happy she gets to live out her dream 😊 Also it has the emotions in it like from McQueens crush love how they filmed that so scary and such woah kind of moment. Also l love the new characters as well as the old ones like I did love Cruz and Jackson Storm was a douche but he was great new rival.
