Wow! 14 years passed since Despicable Me came out, the very first Illumination animated film. I've always loved the first movie and rest of those movies from Universal. It was a really fun childhood memories.

This is such a fun family film to watch. I just love Gru’s transformation from villain to hero. At first he only wanted to steal the moon so he could become the greatest villain and only hired the girls for his own personal gain. Eventually he gives up on his villainy and starts becoming a father figure to the little girls.

My favorite joke in the film is a subtle one. Notice that the Bank of Evil said it was "formerly Lehman Brothers?" They were the fourth largest investment bank in the USA until 2008, when it was liquidated after filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, the largest one the nation had ever faced. This happened because of their involvement in the subprime mortgage crisis, and their closure is considered the biggest contributing cause of the 07-08 economic recession that effects the world over. Yeah, clearly, someone had some opinions writing that joke :)

Man, the hype for this movie was awesome! The Minions were in ALL of the ads and promos...and I do mean EVERYWHERE. There were even banana flavored Tic Tacs! My mom loved these little guys when the movie first came out. Thankfully, she settled for Grogu as her new obsession

This movie is actually pretty funny and inventive. Even though it’s another villain turned hero story, it’s in a different way than you would expect. Even though it spawned 2 Minion movies and 2 sequels, even a 3rd sequel coming up soon, the first movie is for sure recommendable.

Gru's Mom is not actually that bad she just wanted her son to have his own family! 42:20 She wanted to be a grandma not just only Gru getting a job or starting a business! That is the only thing she is proud of him!❤ Gru's Mom is not actually the only family member you see of Gru, he has other family members including his dad and even the ancestors in Gru's Family Tree where there is a scene when he gave the giris a goodnight and walking down the hall that shows it!

I can only speak as an old dude now😅, but i just remember the first time i realized it had been 10 years since "whatever" happened & thought, wow, thats a long time! Despicable me is so funny 😆 and also a very heartwarming movie ❤️❤️ Gru is a great main character I like that he is not a totally evil supervillain but just a funny villain 😊 but you see his character development throughout the movie especially when the girls come to his life and see him start to love them and than become a great Dad ♥️ I do love Margo,Edith and Agnes and love the Dr and Victor is great Villain but for the best part of the movie are the Minions they are so adorable and hilarious and honestly they what make the movie so awesome 😄💙💛 Thanks for the movie reaction Tim and Malbread and can’t wait for the sequels 😊😄😉
