Timothy B. Schmit is a musician, singer, and songwriter. He has performed as the bassist and vocalist for Poco and the Eagles, having replaced bassist and vocalist Randy Meisner in both cases. Schmit has also worked for decades as a session musician and solo artist. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles.

It`s funny because I have loved the Eagles since 1975 and only in recent years, as I have had more time to find out about all the great musicians, that have made this band so iconic, have I come to fully appreciate this uniquely talented bass player and vocalist. Glad you were able to get it. I tried unsuccessfully in Las Vegas a few years prior when he was on one of his few solo tours. I’d gotten Richie Furays autograph a few months prior. I tried to get Tim’s at a solo show he did at a Las Vegas casino he did a few months later. Unfortunately it didn’t happen
