Rick needs to start his own podcast about dating. He humble but his wisdom is deep. That aside, Often times men put on a front to get a girl and when the honeymoon phase is over his real personality settles in and it’s not what she thought. A problem many men have is they get comfortable and lazy. Maybe he is a great guy, but women get attached to the person they saw you as the moment they realized they love you. Like anything else, relationships require maintenance and she should have the same love she felt at first, if not more so, now that they’ve been together for a while. Whenever people say a relationship isn’t what it was at first, I always ask what are you not doing that you were at first? Whatever you did to elicit certain actions has to continue. So Either he(or she) is slacking or she just not in love no more. Maybe he isn’t in love any more. They need to talk to each other

Love this podcast! Nikki was hittin all the good points. I also think for people in general, whether you're a hopeless romantic or not, building any kind of relationship romantic or not requires honest and open communication. Also, knowing wtf you want, or expressing the fact that you dont know what you want and letting the chips fall where they may. Along with that, you have to understand and accept that not everyone is comfortable being open and honest and you will have some people that just don't align with you, but also that doesn't mean to give up.

Friendzone definitely exists but that doesn’t mean it’s automatically a bad thing to be there. Friendzone is simply the place where you put your friends, you don’t see them in any other “zone” (romantic, sexual, etc) so you leave them in that one. Now it can be a problem when one person wants to exit that zone to enter a new one, and the other doesn’t want to change anything about their placement. It definitely exists though lol the idea that it doesn’t is crazy to me.

Elbows are actually the ugliest part of the body so I cringed with that joke. Speaking of money..I have a friend that used to constantly brag on her daughter and the money her husband had. She has always lived vicariously through the daughter. Now my boyfriend/husband basically is cousins with the mother and the daughter. And he would find out the scoop on it all and find out things like their supposed condo was actually the husband's aunt's condo lol. And none of this is shade to the daughter..the daughter is actually great and I like her better than her mother (which is bad cause the mother has been basically my best friend for 20 years). And she left her husband recently..and I came into a little bit of money which my friend figured out. She has acted weird since. My point is..most of those that brag about money are using credit cards and such lol and living check to check probably. Now the mother was going on and on about the daughter and I don't know how they lived as far as credit and such..but I know it was a big lie about them being loaded. But if you do have money and you brag..you suck. But the mother was making up for something that is lacking obviously ..she couldn't just be happy on her own.

The friendzone discussion... it definitely exists and is usually the good guys that are in this place that would treat the girl like a queen, but the girl doesn't see them as that, at the moment or whatever. Also saying girls can see through the act, whether its the nice guy act or not is plain wrong... some maybe, the majority? Nah.
