I'm lucky I had my own "Emma" who took care of me as a child. She is a bit of a weird lady, but I mean that in the best way possible. She would do anything for my sisters and I. Now we can't see each other that much because she is busy taking care of her own grandchildren but I still remember her waking me up for school and asking me which cartoon character I wanted to be for the day (I was obsessed with roleplaying my favourite characters as a kid and she played along with it). She always uses odd idioms and mannerisms that I've never heard of, and I'm completely sure she makes them up on the spot lol Sorry for the long comment. A similar thing happened to me when my family moved to Florida. We met a nice elderly couple that were very sweet and they treated us like their grandchildren since we first met. They were very caring and they didn't drink alcohol which was a plus sense my biological grandparents would get drunk and hurt themselves alot. They are the best thing to happen to us.
