Love your vids !!! 2 years ago I foul hooked a grass carp in the tail while bass fishing with 8# braided. It took me 1hr 25min to get him in. He was 44 inches long and weighed 41 pounds.

The fish are trapped in a shallow, hot pool and are having trouble breathing, which is why they're at the surface sucking air. It also explains why big, groggy fish are so close to a bank and don't avoid the big hunter; they can't move away from you.
