Thank you, Tim, for your kind instruction. I agree the far background trees would look a lot better with soft edges along the top of the darks. I will definitely remember this in the future. Thanks for doing these workshops, and as always, I look forward to the next one. Clouds and cloud reflections look like they will be challenging and fun to paint.

Thanks Tim I always learn a lot from your tutorials; also thank you for making so many available, very generous of you. You are right in that the photo of my painting came out rather dull due to the light being very low that day; the painting itself is quite a lot brighter.

Yes, it always difficult to get the lighting looking okay. Maybe take the photo outside but not in sunlight?
