Tina S[etkic] is from France. She started playing guitar at 4, her older brother was already in school learning guitar. Tina started classical guitar lessons at 6. Started rock/metal lessons from teacher Renaud Louis-Servais [renowned] at 13. Posted this “Altitudes” cover at 16. Her last video was “Moonlight Sonata” in 2017, when she was 17. She then quit uploading videos and went to Universitie. Everything is rumor after that.

this is the hardest piece that Tina played (yes it's harder than her 'Moonlight Sonata') Jason Becker started at 5 also on classical guitar, played/toured in a band Cacophony at 16, composed entire 'Perpetual Burn' album by 17 (some parts as early as 15 like intro part of 'Air'), he stopped playing guitar due to debilitating/paralysing disease called ALS before he could legally buy a drink! right before he was gonna tour with David Lee Roth (Van Halen) and go mainstream, yet he left a legacy and his mark that influenced plethora of pro guitarists today like Jeff Loomis, Jason Richardson, Tim Henson, Tosin Abasi, and others, he was one of the first that played arpeggios the way that he did and composed the way that he did in neoclassical style in 1980s (yes this music is from 1980s!), he is still alive 30+ years later today after he was given maximum of 5 years to live, paralyzed and hooked up to ventilator/breathing machine HE IS STILL COMPOSING amazing music today 'Perspective' (1996) and 'Triumphant Hearts' (2018) albums, Jason is one of the musical geniuses of our time, there is even an orchestra that covered his piece 'Air' which he wrote age 15-17 m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKWXinuiiMeooZI

If you haven’t already, I’m assuming you did though, check out Herman Lin’s videos raising money and awareness for ALS [Becker]. He has really good talent accompanying him, like TheDooo, among others.

Not fake. She is from Evry, France, a bit south of Paris. Her parents emigrated from Bosnia, but Tina was born in France. Many say she stopped to go to collage, but no hard proof/evidence of that. Her sister is attending IMT-BS in Evry. One somewhat credible report says she has chosen 'another' path. She did register a one person company for 'production musicale, blogueur professionnel' in Nov/Dec 2020. Her demeanor and other behaviors (including stopping a highly focused activity in later teens) could hint at someone with Asperger's. It is a great pity that it appears she has walked away from this.

No doubt Tina is very good but what’s more impressive is Jason Becker the original composer and guitarist was only couple years older than Tina when he wrote it and the album this is from, Perpetual burn. He suffers from ALS since 19yrs old. Shortly after this album came out he started loosing his ability to play and became quadriplegic. Thanks to friends and technology he still composes today.

Reading the comments here and elsewhere, lead me to the following: ...that the world should organise an annual event where all the really great musicians would meet and socialise in order to become friends and (perhaps) share experiences, ideas, techniques... Presuming it to be a large group, they can then divide themselves into groups and then proceed in planning for a annual show with groups alternating each year. In the case of Jason Becker, it would be a wonderful gesture from Tina if she could arrange an opportunity to meet him. It will mean the world to him, as well as to her to see him in the condition! I can just imagine what such an encounter will do to Tina as a fellow mucisian. True masters are there to share. It is from them that we learn and get th gist of what hard work is all about.

Even TheDooo said she plays “Moonlight Sonata” better than him. A commenter told me he said that in one of his Black Ops videos, but I haven’t found it yet, so still hearsay at this point. But that’s because of her classical training. She’s going to have him beat on classical pieces. But when it comes to shredding, speed metal and such, I’d say they’re pretty equal.

Some people are very prodigious, much like the man who composed this song, Jason Becker. The fact that she can play it is remarkable, but you should check out the guy who wrote it, who composed this at the same age. Brilliance, and the sad fact that he was forced to stop playing due to ALS, but still composes music. Tina S is great, but non guitar playing folks need to give more love to Jason.👍

Fun fact, the original composer of the song recorded it when he was 17-18 back in the 1980s. Sadly he has ALS and can't move or talk ( he communicates by making patterns with his eyes ). It was said that he would've been the next world famous 'guitar god' if he hadn't had the disease that cut his career short.

It's easy to see that Tina S has a classical background. Most young and technically skilled players can't do the same kind of musical phrasing as Tina S can do. And when her vibrato and precisiness are just mind blowing then these things combined really make a difference. Tina S can also handle all the major techniques that really good players use. Maybe 10 different techniques all combined or something like that. She obviously has had a very good guitar teacher and of course she is super talented and has practised a lot. I mean... A really lot. I can understand that she maybe wanted to do something else for a while because the work amount must have been a massive to achieve that kind of level musically and technically.
