This was such a good tutorial. I love your reactions. I do it too and I've done my hair for a long time, haha. As a person who has achieved a blunt cut at home, it is possible. Just takes practice. And as you'd said, start longer. My hair is naturally wavy so I always have to cut longer anyway. If you want a straighter back line, versus rounded, angle the cut so the back is cut shorter then the front when you do these. Make it extreme for an angled bob. I've been cutting and styling my own hair for over 20 yrs so not a pro. Just tips I've learned. I just like playing with my hair.

I'm finally doing it. My hair is so bleach damaged and breaking off, and been ripped out by my infant and husband so many times I cry dealing with my hair. And my husband always bitches saying not to cut it, don't cut it shorter; but it's so damaged it looks so bad and thinner than it really is because of how uneven it all is at the bottom half. Love this even 3 years later…and yours is way more realistic to watch than Mondo’s to be perfectly honest (plus I have a TON of hair unlike his li’l mannequin head, so I had to separate mine into like 14 ponytails). When women are charged twice what men are even for the easiest of cuts, it’s great to just say "F That!” and DIY it at home. And regarding the emotional weight of hair, I couldn’t agree more. Just cut off my long pandemic braids and am happy as can be. (I admit though I have naturally wavy hair when it’s cut to shoulder length or shorter so it’s more forgiving if you don’t get the back perfect). thanks!.

Watched a couple videos before deciding that this one was right for me to try. Pretty easy, about the length I wanted and hair thickness similar to mine. I did my hair 3 on each side but I maybe should have went for 4 as well. One side was longer and I had to snip again but no biggie. I then flat ironed it and touched up the rest of it. Aw... I thought this method worked very well and was easy. If you have someone that can help you even out in the back then you are good to go. Just take your time, pick a day when you are stress free so you dont stress while you are doing it 🥰

Excellent video... but I just wanted to see it from the back! Great sense of humour and your technique seems to work. My covid hair went from a very short style to my bra line in 3 1/2 years. Got my first cut a few months ago. Not quite long enough to donate. Sounds like unevenness can be corrected best by point cutting? I'm ready for another 2 inches or so off. Wish me luck! UPDATE: It worked! I'll be fussing with it a bit but overall very happy! Out of several watched videos yours made the most sense. Thank you!
