19) How to Calibrate your KD 7000 Scale

Thank you, Tina for this information and for all your videos. I have a KD 800 and I will buy a 5 kg weight to calibrate. In the case that it shows less or more than 5 kg, what can I do? Is there any possibility to use the scale's buttons or I have to add/decrease the difference when I weight the ingredients. Unfortunately, I moved and I lost the papers from the scale. Thank you very much!

Thanks Tina, no manual came with it but I did have to look up the manual once before to turn off the auto shut off. Wonder why they don’t include a manual.

seashorecanadian I recommend using the calibration weights, because hand weights aren't exact. As for disabling auto off, I can't remember off hand, but you can Google the manual and download it for free.
