I'm autistic so I can understand your struggles with the tattoo needles. Needles have been a big issue with me growing up, and the sensory overload I would get from them would be a crazy amount. I would close my eyes if I saw a needle even when it wasn't going into my body, because my body would still feel the pain years later, even after I thought oh this is over it's not gonna come back. I'll also have big emotions and not really know what they are, or be able to tell sometimes leading to burn out, and overload, because I'm feeling so much it could be really heavy on my body, and I'm going Monday to get tested for autism I'm super nervous, cause I've heard females at birth usually get misdiagnosed with autism, or get diagnosed with adhd first, and some other kind of anxiety disorder biggest differences I've noticed between bpd, depression, anxiety, is they are all somewhat treatable, and they might come back not everyone's experience is the same usually there's an explanation, and the difference with autism is it's developmental. It's not behavioral problems although it's a misconception for many autistic adults unfortunately in an ableist society. If you can I'd try to even get diagnosed for that it might help you in some of those areas if someone does ever suspect something. This has been a thing throughout my childhood, and teenage years, and no ones really ever noticed it until later so this process for me is a little just emotional I'm not sure how I'm gonna react once I get my diagnosis. But everybody's experiences are valid diagnosed or not. I've heard it is a waiting game to get a diagnosis. That I hope doesn't happen with me but everybody's experience in the autism spectrum is different cause people with autism believe it or not experience things differently. We unfortunately have these variations of stereotypes that might lead to a late diagnosis, as an autistic person who's never been on anything, or has done anything myself I enjoy your videos, because mental health it's just something that really needs to be talked about more, and there shouldn't really be shame around the idea of speaking about it. I've always had issues when I was younger in school, and I'd tell someone about my problems, because I'd automatically be blamed, instead of them actually helping me with my problem, so they just kicked me out essentially. I am in adult ed classes now, so they are trying to make accommodations I'm lucky enough to have a school that will see where I had special ed, and will make accommodations based on my paperwork. I'm lucky I have a school that will see undiagnosed autistic kids, and make accommodations for them. Because in middle school growing up undiagnosed I didn't have what I should have had. They quit special ed even and forced me into the bigger classes.

I saw guys with infected piercings. Oh yeah I got it done in here, they'd say. I'd say no. It wasn't stuck or anything, but was kept open with a comb tooth, oozing green pus. I'd say, if you want a piercing, when you get out, get it professionally done. Don't mess around with something near your eyes, etc. If it's stuck and not infected that's one thing. Or if they have nipple piercings and have thread through it, old piercing, I check it once in awhile, looks clean, I leave it alone. Sheesh. 🤦

@jewelsbarbie Жыл бұрын
Omg, that’s terrifying! 😥
@janetslater129 Жыл бұрын
@@jewelsbarbie It was. It hit him hard and fast...thought it was initially pneumonia, but after additional testing, they figured out it was a staph infection, and he had open heart surgery the next day. He was initially only given a 20% chance of survival. Coming out of surgery, he was in multiple organ failure (both kidney and liver), he had to start dialysis right away, and it wasn't certain if he would be able to come off of it (he did after a few weeks), and was on life support for a few days.

@@jewelsbarbie Yep. The thing is that staph is everywhere....it's literally on our skin 24/7. Granted, my brother hadn't been to a doctor in years, and we're all predisposed to heart problems of some kind due to genetics. Apparently, he was having heart valve issues for years, but those were never indicated, and his aeorta is considered very small for his size (and he's always been on the small side), which was was congenital. So, those were not in his favor when he got sick. Unfortunately, he had to learn his lesson the hard way (not that he deserved it of course), as that served as a MAJOR wake up call.

Tattoo needles are not visible. They’re so so so so much smaller than regular gauge needles. The pain of a tattoo is like the pain of a scratch. Depending on wheee it is, scratches hurt more/less. You’ll be perfectly fine if you ever do decide to get one! Avoid ribs/stomach/butt because those areas expand daily, other than that, you’ll be A ok!!!
