I bought and started using the Dear Klairs Midnight blue cream because of you and I absolutely LOVE it! I have oily combo skin but I really prefer this type of cream over gel type moisturizers. I think I will definitely continue to repurchase it!

I tried the Cato cream a few times and every time I feel a burning sensation. I don’t have sensitive skin whatsoever and don’t usually have problems with products. That’s too bad, I really wanted to like it so I just use it on my hands.

Me too, and it doesn’t moisturize for long enough

Same. I feel like it breaks my skin barrier further. It is free of artificial colorants and fragrances but there are essential oils and the long ingredient list makes me think there are many possible irritants.

I had the same experience, was very sad about it 😢

Maybe a niacinamide sensitivity? It happens with me all the time when any product has that ingredient and I gave the Cato cream away because of that.

For me cato cream is simply, meh. Not moisturising enough and not in any way extraordinary. But the sunscreen!!!!! OMG it is amazing. Better than most of the viral one's. I love love love it

I love the lovely big jar of d’Alba - and YOU totally were the one who influenced me to try the d’Alba products. ❤❤❤ Another favourite is the I’m From Rice Cream 🥰 I love the biome cream from Axis-Y (I think it’s called “Made For Me” something). I love fermented ingredients in my skincare! A thinner cream that I really really love is the Isn’tree Mugwort Calming Cream Last. Last but not least I love me a good sleeping mask. This year it’s been Pure Heals by Nature Village Ginseng Berry 80 Overnight Mask - smells LOVELY ☺️ and has fermented ginseng in it - and Abib Rice Probiotics Overnight Mask. These both masks are very jelly like in texture and doesn’t mess up the pillowcases or so. My skin is normal (or I prefer the term “Balanced”) I have no concerns, really. Or rather, I make sure to take care of my skin barrier because if that get slightly effed up, it’s hell toupee and it can take me a while to get its health and comfort back. I wish you all a Happy New Year 🥳 ❤❤

Mine is Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel. I live in the tropics where it's so hot and humid. This gel cream is amazing for my oily combo skin. It's so hydrating too. Best gel cream out there and I've tried loads.

I love emulsions in the morning. In theory I should use a gel moisturizer or moisturizing SPF as I have very oily skin. But being also dehydrated my skin thieves when I use emulsion under SPF. You made me aware this type of product even exists which I am very grateful for.

The chamomile lotion by beplain is also so nice under make up. It’s very similar to the one you recommended. Also If you like the blue klairs cream, you should try meditherapy’s blue centella calming cream. It’s amazing.

I always do the Japanese way of using an emulsion and then a cream as I have dry skin. I loved the Anua peach and heartleaf emulsions, and from creams my faves were the Abib hydration cream, Haru Haru Peptide cream and Aestura which is a long time fave, I also like the Cica version. I have not heard of the brand Recipeo but it looks interesting

Hi Tina! Thank you for always giving us nice contents! Btw, LDK has released their “LDK best cosme of the year”! Somehow I trust LDK more than @cosme. I’d love to hear your opinion on those! I bought Ariul’s moisturizer which ranked A+ (never seen A+ moisturizer before). So excited to try it out!

The Recipeo moist emulsion actually reminds me of a moisturizer i'm currently using: the Round Lab for Men 1025 Dokdo All-in-One Gel Lotion! I bought it despite being female because, screw it, i needed a good holy grail gel lotion, and my sensitive skin has been LOVING it! if you ever get a chance to compare it to the recipeo moist emulsion or even the flaskin protein lotion (since i use the round lab for pre-makeup skincare as well), i'd love to hear your thoughts!

As much as I love Tina and her KZbin Channel, her moisturizers are catered more toward those with dry skin or those who live in dry and/or colder climates. It won’t be suitable for those with oily skin and those who live in humid climates. It will easily form blackheads due to the presence of oil ingredients. Her recommendations might work better at night especially if you sleep in an airconditioned bedroom or sleep in a colder area.
@shroomytheloser7792 сағат бұрын
I mean she has dry skin and lives in a dry climate, it's wouldn't make sense for her to recommend products that she doesn't use.

Pcalm is totally not moisturizing enough for dry skin, i dont know what you’re on about. The emulsions or other products are probably why it seems enough for you but if you have a minimal skincare routine its not enough for dry skin Surprisingly. Althea Barrier is good for dry skin.

your skin might just be different from hers since, you know, you’re a different person and sometimes what works for someone else might not work for you. there’s no need to be rude.
@amandak.424615 сағат бұрын
i agree, i'm shocked it would be enough for anyone's dry skin. when i use it at night, i feel like i need a second moisturizer.
