My dad played her music when I was a child, I am now 50 years old. I loved it then and still love it now. I danced to it then and still dance to it now. She had a unique sound and look. She overcame domestic violence. Became one of the best female singers of all times. Love you Tina. Dance and Sing in Heaven. Rest In Peace.

She was a huge fan of The Fixx. This collaboration was so genuinely great because of the mutual admiration between Tina and Fixx guitarist Jamie and vocalist Cy Curnin. Think Cy wrote some of these lyrics as well. Rest easy Tina.

Hands down, Tina Turner is the best female rock singer of all time. I wish she had spent her entire career singing rock songs. She is a total bad ass, virtually all singers look 6 inches tall compared to her.
@edmundsishange36082 жыл бұрын
She's the best indeed. Infact she wanted to sing nothing but rock, really hard stuff like AC/DC but her manager discouraged her, he felt it was commercially unsafe and gave her POP songs to record in the studio, that's why she pretty much changed the tempo on stage and added guitars to really deliver that rock she so badly wanted. Roger was a good manager, he really secured her financially but I'm still mad that she deprived us of an even rockier Tina.
