Even though the making process was stressful but I still had a lot of fun filming it! It's such a beautiful and intricate craft. I want to practice more and maybe make a hairpin next time. Would you guys want to see more videos of me trying other art crafts?💕 The first 1000 people to use the link will get a free trial of Skillshare Premium Membership: skl.sh/tinayu05211

No matter what you do, from sculpting to cooking and even styling your hair, the result is always a perfectly calming video and amazing art. One day I hope to have one of your pieces, but if not, I'll be content right here as a viewer💜

Even seeing it, I can’t believe these are made from individual strands of silk (?). This was so cool to see!

My art teacher in middle school knew how to make these! She taught how to make them with DMC cotton embroidery floss

Do you know what wire she used by chance? It’s so hard to find material info and I’m super interested to try making some 😮

@@SilentwulvArt id say the thinner wire possible like a 24 gauge or higher

Any chance you remember how she got them to fluff up. I've tried so many different brush types but no luck
@irishime
@irishime 2 жыл бұрын
@@PunkAssB1tch I have seen people roll the wires quickly between two wooden blocks. It helps fluff them and secure the yarn in the wire.

I’m always amazed by how small, intricate and detailed (yet seemingly elegant, not fussy) Chinese embroidery and silk floss was in the past and still is. This type of work could be made into so many shapes and be made to be more cutesy, elegant, so useful!

Could you make a video on this? Like more in-depth. And the history/story on it? It was very interesting to see you work on this? Watching you do the twisting was so cool. I would love to learn more about this. ❤️❤️❤️ Ps I love all of your videos and you art pieces!!

Do you think spraying non scented hairspray will keep the fibers still from fraying over time? Or will that cause a reaction?

i wonder if you could make custom dolls, too, you definitely have the ability to sculpt and mold things and painting small details, and making a wig cap would be no problem if you can make _this_, god its so neat, how long did it take you to get the hang of it? you really know no fear when it comes to tackling new skills

July 25, 2021 This is so fascinating. I'm curious about the buds used in the middle of the flower how you create those. I saw another comment suggesting doing a more in depth video and I second it. Thank you for the articles, it really is difficult to find anything about them in English.

The buds are called stamens - used in milliner flower making or craft flowers. Most places crafting places sell them. :)
