I have such an affinity for Pit Bulls and I have to be honest, I'm a Marine Corps veteran rough tough mans man type but seeing a hurt animal makes my heart ache and well up. I am so happy this little guy made it. What an amazing and gratifying story. Way to go Guiness!! And way to go mom for never giving up. I'm still having to choke my heart down.

I just got a 8 week old puppy. And this almost got me to tears. I just kept thinking I hope the lil fella makes it. I've had pitbulls all my life and I know they are extremely resilient and gutsy. Once I saw him do the pitbull waddle I knew he was gonna be ok. He absolutely would've died had she not cared for him. The runs unusually don't make it. I've never seen a pup so small.

Yayyyyy he made it what a cute fella. I remember when my co worker brought his dog to work and everyone in the office was a little frightened of his dog. I walked right up to her kneeled down and was petting her and she warmed up and gave kisses. I said what a sweetie she is. What kind of dog is she and everyone in the office laughed?!! Pittie puppies look like tiny fuzzy hippos. Raise them in a loving home and they thrive. The breed gets such a bad reputation, because of a few stupid people. Bad owners and bad breeders make life hard on the sweetest, friendliest, most loyal breed of dog I've ever had. So happy that little guy made it. Looks to me like you both hit the lottery.

One of the main reasons he’s such an amazing dog is your love and believe in him since he was so tiny; he felt it for so long it created in him a amazing view of himself through your feelings for him, that’s should always be the way with any pet, they become family members and their energy entwines with ours. We just lost our Sister in law Rita in December. She was the one that was able to help very weak and sick animals especially baby animals. She just had a knack for it! Rita saved so many animals! Some people are especially good at this! Like this gal!

I had the same story happen with my Xena. I left vacation because I was told she was dying that day. I rushed her to an all night e.r. and at 6 weeks she only weighted 1 pound (after eating). We had lots of trials and tribulations it was such a hard road. She is fighter and I faught by her side. She's 6 years old now and I couldn't ask for a better best friend. I would say I saved her but she really saved me.
