Great video. There are two other great features that are undocumented that I'd like to use. The shift key with working plane allows you to drop parts to the other side of the plane and tapping the little circle on Ruler changes the where dimensions are made and not the circle with the x or little lines but the Origin circle.

I had started building a library of parts that I use often, I have a tapered dovetail connector that is really useful, I was just copy pasting them from one design to another, but the new custom part feature makes this so much easier! Thanks Chuck.

I use OpenSCAD but your tip about subtracting a cylinder from a squared or triangular rod to make a fillet is totally transferable. Thank you for sharing that tip. And since my youth heroes were folks like Big Daddy Roth, I'd be delighted to win a spool of Candy Apple Red filament!

Good luck to everyone in the Patreon giveaway. My Tornado is a workhorse and keeps on ticking. 2300hrs on it already! Saving custom shapes and the group/ungroup is going to save a ton of time! I usually use Fusion but sometimes Tinkercad is what's available. Thanks for the tips.

Found out about the double click when working on one of my design and double-clicked, I was like what the hell!. But now it helps out a lot when making new designs. And I didn't know about the fav section so thanks for that.

Hey I've been using tinkercad for a couple of years and hadn't seen that double click feature either, group/ungroup is one of the things I use CONSTANTLY and OFTEN! This would have (and will) saved me a lot of time and effort! thanks!

I use TinkerCAD all the time, but didn't know those tricks. Thanks - it's a great scratch-pad tool for not just 3D printing, but it is also good for designing models for lasercut or CNC too as it can export SVG files.
