Tinna, I'm a 35 year old man, and my daughter just taught me how to crochet a couple of weeks ago. My co-workers are making fun of me, and I honestly don't care at all! I'm having too much fun to be bothered by haters. I'm so glad I came across your channel because I was already getting bored with basic scarfs and beanies. I had a small stack of basic SC wash cloths made and took them to work today, and a few of the ladies were impressed and paid five dollars for each cloth. Just wait until they see what I can do with your patterns! You are truly an inspiration, and with your help I have discovered a creative side of myself that I never knew existed. I'm buying a wood lathe this weekend so I can make my own crochet hooks and yarn bowls. If I make any money that's cool, and if I don't I'm still happy to have a new way to bond with my daughter and mother. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I’ve watched your beginner’s guide to mosaic crochet from the very beginning, so I don’t necessarily NEED to see every single stitch at this point, but the reason I love that you DO record every single stitch is twofold: 1. I’m still a beginner to crochet in general, I make mistakes regularly, especially with mosaic. You showing every single stitch lets me follow along to make sure I don’t make mistakes or, if I do make a mistake, I can go to your videos and figure out where I went wrong and fix it. 2. I love to listen to KZbin while I work and I’ve discovered that having your videos on while I work sorta helps me focus. You have such a pleasant voice and a very kind and welcoming energy. Having your videos playing helps to ease my anxiety and lulls me into a focused mindset. Plus, you frequently make me laugh and laughter is always a good thing while toiling away for the big man! So having the nice long videos means I can just pop open one of your playlists and let it auto play as I work and BOOM! I’m productive all day and my day goes by quickly! Thank you for these tutorials and thank you for being unapologetically you. 💖💖

I love mosaic in the round and found this tutorial to be delightful - probably because I have a certain amount of OCD (as you mentioned) that tells me to stitch the gaps together at the joins, or as I usually do now, I leave 3 sc between the start and end so the chain up can be worked in the center sc. I like the pattern it shows and use it as a highlight of the hat or bag rather than hiding it at the back where everyone behind you can see it! Your many works are so beautiful ~ thank you for sharing!

I use a stitch marker and it greatly helps me to avoid common joining errors. Thank you so much for posting this video. I purchased your afghan pattern that has it so it was great to follow along with the pattern right in front of me.
