After all of you videos we will all have to make a trip along the 395. Thank you for showing us where we can stop.

Thanks for watching! I will have a few more videos about this area ~ a couple more campgrounds we stayed at and a few more things to see. Really a great area!

Lexi looks happy as always in the video :). What a great campground! Very peaceful with a nice little Creek running right through it and great views of the Sierra Nevadas.

She is happiest while camping for sure! And if there is water, even better! Yep, this is a little gem. Thanks for watching )

The creek side spots are awesome! Beautiful location. 4:32 - those snow covered mountains are picture perfect! Oh Lexie and the water!

Thanks Josh ~ we loved being right next to the creek too! As did Lexie :) And yes, those mountains!

Great video, you were in our neck of the woods and we are camping there this weekend. Welcome to the Eastern Sierras, new subscriber here👋

We LOVE the Eastern Sierra foothills! Loved Taboose, Tuttle, Lower Lee Vining & well, actually all of the campgrounds we have been to along highway 395. How crowded was it? Hoping to do the 395 again this year!

That creek running through the back of your camp site is beautiful! Had to be a great area and didn't look too busy which is even better!

We always stop on the west side of 395 just south of Big Pine to visit the Aberdeen Mules that are kept in the area. We always fed them until people on the 395 Facebook page said they weren't supposed to be given food. We still enjoy stopping to visit the herd when we pass thru.

OH MY I love mules, donkeys and the other one of those... jackasses? Burros? I would have a hard time not feeding, but totally understand why not to feed. Maybe I could just take one home...?

The state plants some amazing trout in that little creek.

James Reck we didn’t see any in this creek, but saw loads in Tuttle Creek! You can see the schooling fish in my Tuttle Creek video. I sure would like to be sitting at one of these campgrounds right now!

@@TravelSmallLiveBig I did see that video, it was painful to watch during a shelter in place order with all campgrounds closed.

Wayne Powell Taboose Creek was nice too! I have a playlist on this area - lots of interesting places. They have done a great job on the visitor center at Manzanar also - worth a visit! Have a great time 😀

Sweet! Headed up that way to see the kids in May....good to know about cash only. Power lines are creepy, but a modern necessity I guess.

Taboose Creek & Tuttle Creek were nice too (videos soon). Taboose Creek had a kiosk so a credit card could be used. Really great area ~ where do your kids live? Thanks for watching Jane!

what about bears since it doesnt look like it has boxes?
@TravelSmallLiveBig4 жыл бұрын
Tinnemaha Creek and another favorite, Taboose Creek are lower in elevation that what I would think is bear country. If anything there might be coyotes around, but we didn't see anything other than birds and some fish in Tuttle Creek.
