This happens when birds are beginning to nest. They see their reflection in your windows and are trying to fight off competition. This has happened to our home and our camper during the bird migration on Lake Erie. Robins at home cardinals at Maumee Bay. We have covered windows with plastic paint drop to stop the reflection.

you all have been such a blessing to the entire family, by being proactive with the land purchase, to the advance warnings and preparation, not only does the family have peace of mind that their animals that are on site are safe, but the added bonus is that it frees the family up to help other family members without having to be concerned about their animals as well. Well Done.

Birds are territorial. It spots another bird in it's reflection in your window and is trying to scare the intruder out of it's area. It may help if you have a window awning or patio awning to reduce the sun's glare on the window.

ENDLESS RVING : MON. 6/13/22 6:11 AM CST, HOT SPRINGS NATURAL PARK, AR. USA 🇺🇲 ... GOOD MORNING ... NICE FAMILY & NICE RIG ... I AM 70 YRS OLD W/ AGE RELATED EYE SIGHT SO W/ THAT BEING SAID THIS IS WHY I TYPE IN CAPS ... OK I USE TO LIVE IN A GROUND FLOOR CONDO ABOUT 125 FT. FROM OUR PIER RUNNING ALONG LAKE HAMILTON ... WE HAD LOTS OF TREES / BUSHES & OTHER PLANTS THAT REFLECTED ON TO & ACROSS ALL OUR 4 HUGE CONNECTING PICTURE WINDOWS (BASICALLY THE ENTIRE SIDE OF OUR CONDO ... WELL THE SAME THING HAPPENED EXCEPT THESE BIRDS WERE FLYING FROM A GREATER DISTANNCE MUCH FASTER ... SO ... FROM THE OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS REFLECTING THE TREES & BUSHES CREATED A MASTER ILLUSION TO DELUSION FOR THE BIRDYZZZ ... & ... IT WAS VERY SCARY WHEN THE BIRDS HIT THE WINDOWS AT FULL SPEED ... LUCKILY NONE OF THE BIRDS WENT TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE FOR BIRDYZ ... WE DID SOLVE THE PROBLEM BY PUTTING IVORY PAINTED WOOD CARVED HANGING PANELS ON OUR INSIDE WINDOWS LEDGES & COVERIING 3/4 OF THE WINDOW HIGH LOOKING LIKE SHUTTERS BUT ABLE TO SEE THROUGH THE ORNATE CARVED PANELS ... & ... THEY FIT EACH WINDOW PERFECT / WERE BEAUTIFUL CARVINGS CREATING TOTAL PRIVACY FROM OURSIDE & WE COULD SEE THE LAKE PERFECT ... HERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR YOU : GET BLUE OR FORREST GREEN TARPS IN DIFFERENT SIZES (COLORS FOR 2 DIFFERENT REASONS) ... THEY ARE BASICALLY INEXPENSIVE & THEY HAVE MULTI USAGES ... YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU BOUGHT THEM ... ALSO FOR YOUR INSIDE WINDOWS THERE A 2 DIFFERENT PRODUCTS YOU CAN GET FOR DIFFERENT USAGE ON YOUR WINDOWS WHERE YOU CAN SEE OUT & HAVE PRIVACY FROM THE OUTSIDE ON-LOOKERS : 1. YOU CAN GET PERFORATED NON- SLIP DRAWER / SHELF LINERS BY THE ROLLS & CUT TO SIZE PER YOUR WINDOWS & TEMPORARYILY PUT OVER WINDOW W/ MAGNETS OR YOU PREFERENCE ... THEY COME IN DIFF COLORS BUT A LIGHT COLOR IS WHAT YOU WANT TO DETER / DETOUR THE NATURE REFLECTION THE BIRDS FLY INTO ... WHEN YOUR DONE WITH THEM PUT AWAY OR USE FOR OTHER PROJECTS ... 2. A SIMULAR PRODUCT THINER & MORE EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT ... & ... IS ALSO PERFORATED / COMES ON ROLLS TO CUT TO SIZE / DIFF. COLORS ... BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE PRODUCT (NAME ?) CLINGS / ADHERES TO THE WINDOW BUT IS ALSO REMOVABLE ... YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO LOWES/ HOMEDEPOT ETC ... & CHECK OUT THEIR BATH &/ OR WINDOW TREATMENT SECTION ... GOOD LUCK W/ YOUR FUTURE BIRDYZZZ & FANTASTIC FAMILY ADVENTURES YOUR GOING TO SHARE TOGETHER ... GOD BLESS ... 🕊 ☮ 🌎🕯🌍🕯🌏 ☮🕊

Had a Cardinal attack the back of our 5th wheel. We started our YT channel thinking we would rate different campgrounds and give people a heads up as to what to expect because we’ve dealt with campgrounds that aren’t paved and if they use recycled concrete we find so much reinforcement wire and nails (like a lot) in the roads in the campground and we are always shocked that no one seems to care like we do because we’ve talked to other campers (at these campgrounds) and when we mention this they act like it’s not a big deal to them. It’s kinda scary thinking how many people could have a blowout because of this & how dangerous it could be.

The crushed concrete they buy is cheaper because the facility didn’t remove all of the metal. They sell crushed concrete without metal. It must be specified by the buyer.

Glad I watched so I could hear MJ say it was Easter weekend. It reminded me most KZbinrs videos are not in real time. We went to Thousand Trails in Williamsburg the week before Easter & came home the day b4. Since then in a lot of videos people r talking about getting ready for 1st trip or r on 1st trip & kept thinking "Did we start early this year?" so this was e real "duhh" moment for me. 😄 We didn't follow your guidelines very well. We were 4-4.5 hours away if we needed to get home. One good thing was it got cold so we used our heat for the 1st time (Just bought it in July). Worked great! Only used briefly and used our little plug in oscillating tower heater which did the job and didn't have to burn propane. Our Transcend TT is just under 31' and it kept the whole thing warm enough and still had 1-2 more levels of heat to go on it. Was nice to find that out now.

I’m planning a similar battery upgrade this year. It’s odd how everyone combines batts with “going solar.” I tell people I have a big (expensive) on-board generator and alternator and I just need more storage capacity, not a new generation method. For heat are you just propane/forced air or do you have heat pumps too? I assume heat pumps would use power similar to an A/C but I don’t actually know. My Canyon Star has two heat pumps.
@EndlessRVing2 жыл бұрын
We have heat pumps as well as furnace. Mostly use heat pumps unless it drops below 40 degrees

I added 4 deep cycle interstate batteries to give me the capacity to get thru the evening and night. My 400 watts of solar keeps everything powered during the peak sunlight hrs.
