Bill, do you honestly think those struts are going to work with no up travel ? I can't imagine Billy wanting to raise the front ent up 2", especially if it could be corrected now. We'll kinda they already welded it up . The struts could be sent back and the body cut down.

Loving the new, longer and more in-depth videos with technical content. Please keep it up as it's super interesting to follow a build to completion with tons of detail on how you guys work. Other shops have promised this kind of content but almost never follow through, dropping short vids every few months that just say they've been too busy to film- it's really frustrating if you are invested in their work.

It's just like anything, whoever has the most money, or should I say whoever puts the most amount of money into whatever they do wins. It's the same in tractor pulling. Always ends up pushing out the little guy and this is coming from the guy that put the money in and took all the trophies home. I saw it in racing too. They need to have more strict rules that way everyone is on the same level.

I love mine and use hacksaw blades and cut the to the required length as required . How much travel do the cups have ?? I would think one could make a similar cup a 1/2" shorter if required . Looking forward to the progress on this project and of course CB!!!

Yeah it definitely makes a lot more sense to build another 540 that's twin turbo so he can share tune-ups between the cars and you can also grab an engine out of one or the other if something happens to one all that goes out the window and he's basically up schitt creek if something happens to one of them... I wanted to see it too but like he said it's going to be a steep learning curve and that's going to be expensive in the middle of the seasons really not the right time for that.. he's still mastering EFI as it is too

I’m a 66 year old man that grew up in the 60’s & the 70’s when muscles cars were all the rage. I grew up in a Buick family and at 17 I had a 1970 GS455 Stage1 convertible. I am still a Buick person. What can ya’ll tell me about the GS that is on the lift or let me know if the owner has a website for it? I have followed all of SRC’s family and you folks also. I do remember seeing that GS racing in Ohio on some of Billy’s video’s and haven’t seen it in a while and wondered what happened to it. Thanks in advance and I understand if you folks can’t give out any info. Much appreciated and I thoroughly enjoy all of your content. Sincerely Dave J from Maryland.

Your shock doesn’t have to be on the centerline of the ball joint. You can make a bracket coming off the back of the lower control arm. And it would probley give you 6 inches more travel.

Why would you not get rid of the massive strut cup and do a flat mount? That thing is at least 2" that could be up travel

Okay, for the most part I understand the reasoning for the strut cup mount, but why not use a more traditional coilover "Camber Plate" top hat? Would give you that extra like 4" of room, with adjustability.

I’m trying to back up like moon walking but can’t go any where cause I’m a little boat. It fell right at the front deck and almost got me. I turned and looked at my buddy and he started busting a gut laughing at me. He was like dude, your doing the moon walk and not going any where. 😂 I didn’t think it was that funny but I didn’t get the view he did. 😂 we’d laugh about that all the time.

He had on his last video that he wants tye camaro and nova to have same set ups and close to same tools for now, he also said financially for now to stick with turbos.
@freedomfox81838 ай бұрын
@@travisjolley6688yes that's what actually made me wonder if he went through with it because he already had them building the car for something else I don't know if they had to change something for the difference in setups RF they're only at the point they showed in the video anyway so it wouldn't matter, I know he already bought the ProCharger so I just wasn't curious if he pulled the trigger and told them he's for sure he's going that other route ..it definitely makes the most sense money wise and racing wise ,and as cool as a procharger is it wouldn't be cool going through that learning curve in the middle of the season .. it's hard enough being as new to EFI as he is without completely changing to a blower combo and then switching back and forth between the small block s10, Nova. And Camaro
