I was thinking the same thing. Anyone know how big they are? I couldn't see anything for scale. Would they look ok with something around 6-7 inches like marvel legends?

I think if they made them like those slightly bigger arcades, the resolution and ganeplay could be better and it would still be pretty cheap! ($25 ish)

I was able to buy TMNT arcade 1up for 199.00 on December 26,2019 at Walmart I was just walking and I saw the sign 199.00 so I had to buy it for that price. Apparently it was a sale they had all week,luckily there was two the day I saw it. So hopefully you’ll find a similar deal.

Yeah, that is pretty choppy. I’ve ordered one, but I’m glad I have a multi game cartridge for my GBA that way I can play a smoother version of it. Hopefully it ends up being a smoother experience when it arrives. It’s gonna look killer next to my other ones. Just about 1 or 2 more to go until I can make my own miniature arcade room display.

The TMNT arcade looks like a beta still, the turtle just keeps moving left and right then moving up till it gets stuck it seems and none of the foot soldiers are attacking him despite being right on top

Love that you can buy 1 of a current series, and mod it to play the other "hidden" games in the series. You don't have to waste money buying each single one. Wonder what "hidden" games are on the Tomb Raider one.

Tomb Raider doesn't seem like it could possibly work in this format. The version that's featured on the cabinet utilized an entire PS1 controller, including select button for inventory. You need individual buttons for jump/shoot/action so I don't know how this could be a real thing.

Love the TMNT one, but they need Simpsons, Xmen, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat 2 and 3, Marvel Vs Capcom, Samurai Showdown, Primal Rage, Killer Instinct, NBA Jam, Alien Vs Predator, Dragons Lair, Moonwalker, ... etc.

They have a TMNT pinball from the same company. I’ve picked up a few with the latest being tetris. It’s a cool little thing but terrible on the hands to actually play. Wal Mart and Amazon usually drop them down to around $13 if you want to check them out and dont want to pay the $25-ish msrp.

I a few of these. They are sweet, but you can't really play them. They look awesome in the game room. They need to make it so you can leave them in attract mode without going to sleep in 30 seconds.

I have a few of these, one of the only things that stinks is that they usually have no volume control but maybe these new ones will since tmnt was quiet, they are a little choppy and have less frames so that they can fit the game so games with more movement don't look the best but it's still playable, I don't except tomb raider to be a great choice unless it's a weird 2d thing, but games like Galaxian and space invaders work great for this, I'm saving up for the Mappy one regardless to how it plays. They look amazing on a shelf

@Basil You are aware that 1/6 scale figures are usually 12 inch tall? Those arcades are 3 1/2 inch tall. That mean even 1/12 are too big. You need figures that are less than 4 inch tall.

@Basil Nope. 3 1/2. Neca are usually 7 inch tall. 1/12 would still be too big. The closest scale would be 3 3/4 figures.

I need all those damn beat ‘em up TMNT games on my Switch... c’mon man! haha I feel like a broken record always whining about wanting and needing my turtle games to come back from delisted console games hell...
