Honestly? I feel like this is great for all of us! I'd be in favor of catch-up/'touch-up' visits with anyone who's up for it. Living with a re-organized space is a real mind-bender, and it can take a while to re-orient yourself. There's something to learn from every reaction to these processes, even if someone feels like they've 'failed' and that they haven't kept up with things as they would have wanted to. But in this case, it's an easy answer: yay! More Dani!

I'm glad the series with Dani is continuing. Decluttering and organising isn't one and done, it takes time and going through things multiple times and this series honestly shows that. As you get rid of things your clutter blindness starts to go away and you can see more clearly the things you need and want to keep.

I found that when you start to sell your things it brings home the lesson that it is easier to buy that get rid of. After selling some items, I now think twice before I purchase. I also ask myself can I resell this if necessary.

If you sell something that needs to be mailed then you have to consider packing materials and drop off places, but if you make people pick up, you have to schedule time and wait around for a random person that may not even show up or might just be rude. It is such a hassle to sell, so I can fully understand why you would learn from that, I have yet to learn that lessons and I am still gathering items like a small kid collecting rocks... ^^"

From an ex-hoarder with 3+ yrs of therapy, I am so proud of Dani who came a loooong way. My therapy once said to me that let's NOT focus on the number of items I decluttered but the frequency that I do it. The more times you declutter the easier it gets. I felt so inspired to declutter my paper work (old bills, useless documents etc) that I've been putting off for 3 months until this video. I ended up throwing out a bag of 'office' stuff, 3 kitchen jars, 5 sticker booklets, 1 pr shoes, 1 jacket and a place mat this week 😅👍

I found that I got less sick when I decluttered my flat the first time. Less mould and dust helped. I also drastically changed my diet after as I had space in my life for cooking again 😊 Hope that is something that changes for Dani after all your hard work together!

That makes perfect sense. When you have clutter, you cannot clean as thoroughly and effectively as when areas are clear. The accumulation of dirt, dust, hair, mold and mildew, among other things, triggers allergies and can cause illnesses.

That's exactly what I'm looking forward to - cooking and eating proper food. When my microwave broke I decided to not replace it. I want to get back in the habit of cooking whole foods, not eating ready meals, even if they are the healthier versions with fresh veg. I've decluttered the kitchen, but it needs another pass, and reorganisation before it's completely usable. That's today's job.

Love this series. But honestly, the star of the show is Lucy. She is such a determinedly bad tempered cat 😄 She can diss a person from 8ft away just by a turn of the back. It is good to go around a declutter again a bit later. More stuff will come out of it. it always does.

Through this entire declutter, the focus I have had on the amount of wasted money… Dani could have saved and retired like ten years early! Honestly, just making a rule that an item has to stay in your online cart for at least two days before you can buy it, makes you realize how many items are just impulse buys and really cuts down on waste.

To be honest, after I’ve spent a lot of time and energy decluttering my house, I find it really difficult to buy new things anyway. I find myself automatically looking at something and wondering if it will end up in donation pile in a few months time. If the answer is yes, and it usually is, then I don’t buy it. It’s a bit sad, but I love opening cupboards and drawers so I can gloat at how I have enough space and how organised everything is, now they are not filled up with junk. If you start valuing your time, energy and available space more, then you will save money without even trying.

There’s lots to be learned from the buy two get one free marketing. Unless you will use a product up in a reasonable amount of time or will donate two to a homeless shelter or food bank you aren’t doing yourself any favors by stockpiling products. I have one open shampoo and one on the shelf and no matter what sales are offered I won’t purchase another one until I finish the open one and take the one off the shelf to use. This makes managing my space and my budget really easy.

How lovely to look forward to more of Dani’s decluttering adventures🌸 It’s wonderful to see the progress and how she is more radiant every time. One of my goals was to get down to as little skin/hair/whatever care product as possible. I didn’t have tons, but what i loved i would rebuy and what i didnt like i would use up asap or gift or donate. Facial creams that i didnt love would also be used up on dry legs for example. I think its the same with house hold products, you can buy every kind but probably only need 4 things to clean your whole house. It saves so much money and space and energy to become more aware of your buying habits as a layer of the decluttering process 💗💗💗

I only keep a maximum of two of any one toiletry at a time-one in regular use and one in back stock. When I take the last container of something out of the back stock to put into regular use, I write it on my grocery list with a question mark after it. That means I can wait until it goes on sale before buying. I never run out of anything, and I never have to pay full price.

Dani has been so amazing through this process, taking feedback but also making herself heard so you can help her in an actual helpful way. Also shout out to your methods of communicating and making a safe space for her to work through this stuff. My thought on bathroom and also food, cleaners etc (consumables) is to work from emptiest to fullest. Dibs and dabs of shit drive me crazy. Moving them through first allows you to see the quickest progress which will give momentum for the rest. Aaaand yes put a lot of stuff away and use up then shop from your stash!

I had another thought as well. If you are like me you wrap up after a shower and sit on the bed to get dressed eady. I have a get ready box of toiletry items in my bedroom. Deodorant, lotions, fragrance, makeup, detangler and leave in etc. basically one of everything that does NOT require water is kept by my bed. Then the only thing left IN the bathroom is stuff that you use with water. Makeup remover, shampoo\conditioner, soap, body washes and scrubs, toothpaste all can be in the bathroom. And it makes sense for you to really keep as little in there as possible since it's a wetbath. I was glad to see you move the meds to your kitchen...and you better have tossed all that NyQuil.

This is a MASSIVE tip for Dani (but really for everyone!) Lotion is MOST effective if you DO put it on while your skin is still wet. Making that change literally was a LIFE changer for me (learned if from my dermatologist), I now very rarely IF EVER have issues with eczema.

I’m so happy the series with Dani is continuing. Her smile and upbeat personality make my day. I love this series., except for all of the negative comments about Dani’s pets. This is their home, too. I hate seeing them being blocked off while the decluttering is going on. I have a lot more pets than Dani does. Cleaning around them is part of everyday life and is something that needs to be done. It pained me to see the dog getting stressed out because it was trapped in a corner. I felt sorry for it.
