a good tip is to aim slightly beneath where u want to hit because the water slightlly changes the angle of the projectile visualy not phisically so aim about an inch to 2 inches beneath the fish

As a kid, used bow and arrow with a line in a row boat for gar. Almost as much fun as snorkel diving with a Hawaiian sling in the ocean. Combines fishing and hunting. Appeals to our primal instincts to bring home the game.

Best carp bait is kernels of corn, even dough with a little syrup. Don't know why, but in Tennesee you can get pulled off the rocks, by huge corn eating Carp! Used to catch the crickets in the basement, climb onto an overhanging tree branch, drop a line with a cricket...instant Bass. I've had one of these crossbows for years, now I'm going Snake fish hunting....if we aren't in Covid lockdown! You've renewed the fun of fishing (haven't gone in thirty years, thanks)

Nice work... Here's a tip to help you get more hits with your bolts.... Aim for the belly of the fish , water bends light there for the refraction of the fish is off roughly 4 to 6 in.... Enough science for now just aim for the belly you'll land more fish... Good luck!

Nothing like forgoing the learning curve and going right out into the wild to blindly shoot. “How am I going to land this thing”- all in the premise of being a guardian. Stab and release. We have shoot and release deer season. They generally do very well, until they develop a septic shock infection.

I’m lovin your videos man. Always exciting. Loving this one especially. Keep it up my friend. Please please stop jumping into mud along the bank side. Some of it looks safe but can be six foot deep. Anything over three feet deep can kill you as you will not get out of it, especially if you slid down a steep bank beforehand. Stay safe dude.

I took a regular fishing arrow and cut the back off making a 12" bolt with the safety slide and all. Its sweet but i did copy the scope ring idea and mounted a crappy old fishing rod handle as a reel seat and run cheap 50# triline and it works great
