The Bird's Nest founder & tiny dweller, Robyn, developed the village as a way to financially support herself during retirement, and she plans to keep it permanently affordable. It's organically grown into a fun, supportive, gated community of women who are living their best lives together! Men are welcome, too.😉 Enjoy a community tour, a tour of an Incredibox full-time tiny house rental (now available!) & a bunkhouse travel trailer home! 👉 *Tour Cheryl's cute tiny house at the village:* kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZO5kKudoL2pbq8si=bIGMLnXo68K5oKNC

This is just the BEST tiny home video. A group of great ladies, who r all there for each other, a landlord who is kind and generous! Has a gated area, pets, community center, fire pit gathering! My favorite part, is the young lady & son who are now living in safety and learning about how much they r cared about and included. It was so heartwarming watching her son have his kitten, helping with firewood, learning to drive the big mower. Getting to do things and have things in their so much better lives now since they have escaped from a violent life. She’s getting a wealth of knowledge and support from this wonderful community she is now a part of. 😊♥️♥️♥️

The Bird's Nest community is a great place for women to live in a secured environment with low rent, places to congregate and socialize, and within driving distance of 3 towns. They all seemed like fun and interesting women who make great neighbors. I wish we had a place like that in Seattle, WA! I rent a studio for $1260/month. I'm still working at 70 because the cost of living is so high. I was born and raised in Houston and attended UT/Austin too, but have lived in the Pacific NW for 43 years. Your tiny house community sounds wonderful and thanks for sharing. Jenny ❤

Robyn, you have created a real-life "Golden Girls" supportive community. It takes hard work and dedication, not to mention money to create a safe haven. Times are tough and life can be hard on all of us. I love what you have created and the plans you have to improve it all even more. If I lived there I'd be gardening and landscaping 24/7. You have the perfect place to create different gardens. Get some shade trees, flowering trees, scented trees, flowers and bushes. Design a day or night-scented blooming garden (or a Moon Garden) to escape the Texas heat - maybe around or on the way to your firepit area to start. Build a waterfall or set up a birdbath or two, and surround it with herbs for cooking, tea and for your health. I saw another video with your tenant who is into permaculture. Organic food but only whatever you actually like to eat, fruits, nuts, veggies and flowers everywhere. Every paradise requires critters, splashing water, pretty flowers, and (edible) greenery. Good luck to you and all the ladies (and the men that might join) may you thrive and prosper - it looks like you are already living your best life. Thx for the tour, I hope the people who need you most will find you through this video. More power to you!

Women empowering women. Way to go, Robyn. I, too am a senior and dream of creating a community like this where I live in Canada. I am so happy to see more and more of these communities popping up. It is a sustainable way of living, it can create automatic community, reduce our overall footprint, we share tools - together everybody has more. This is the way of the future, and municipalities need to get out of the way and make room for places like this. It is a great way for people of all ages to come together and share their lives. I love that the young lad is being empowered, too! Very inspiring! Thanks Robyn! Alexis and Christian for featuring The Bird's Nest - for all the birds and chicks! LoL!

You might mention to Haley they have an incredibox special right now & that I could get her an additional 500.00 off. What a lovely community to call home. This is well done. I've heard of bigger, manufactured double-wide homes with real streets and driveways, but the rent and mortgages are too high and could price people out any any time. Affordability this way, for any single person to start up herself, offers more than the basic home, but a special community well thought out.

I am so impressed by this Lady who set up this Tiny Home Village. What a great idea and a great thing to do for other Women, Not to many people around would take a lesser rent because they don’t need more money. Thank you for sharing your life and principles with us.

I am living in the wrong country, Robyn What an epic tiny house community love that they will fasten down your tiny , The more I watch these the more I want a tiny home , Not that i live in a huge house but bills are costly .The incredibox Id need more windows and lighter shade on walls. I agree what she said about the bed against the back wall, It would be less cramped. Great price to rent a space . Community centre oh ya very nice. excellent place to live, Watching from Ontario Canada .

Nicely done. This is my retirement goal. I've been talking to single women I know of retirement age and many are interested in this. The issue is where to live. I currently in Missouri where the weather goes from one extreme to the other DAILY. I, personally, want to be somewhere moderate year-round. I'm getting too old to shovel snow and my arthritis is over the extreme cold.
