My husband and I are near 70 and we will be facing a HUGE downsizing in the near future. Your systems videos are helping me to see it is possible to get a grip on the tons of things that accumulate over 42 years of marriage. It’s crazy how much ‘stuff’ accumulates. Before watching your videos, I just moved things from one place to another to attempt to pick up our over 2200 sq. ft. house. Now, I am VERY willing to use donate bags and trash bags. Understanding that life has seasons also made a huge difference and is making it much easier to let go go things. Watching the video where you said goodbye to your RV was such a help to my husband and I. So, God bless you for sharing and helping us. We could be great friends here on Earth, but barring that, I know I will see you in Heaven someday. Again, God bless you for all you do, share and teach. 💫❤️

You two are so precious. You both have more to teach than you know. When it comes to being a loving couple my husband and I fail miserably in comparison. Your praise of your husband and his attention to your needs is spot on how a husband and wife should care for one another. We all want to be loved. You started with a statement of how much you care for us viewers and finished with praise to our loving father. You are a you tube neighbor, and I want to visit again. Thank you for inviting me into your home. You have filled my heart with much to ponder. You are such a blessing!!!

I absolutely love your KZbin videos. My husband and I full-time RV'd for 12 years, and we lived in small quarters during that time. We have since sold our RVs and now live in a mobile home. I love watching and getting ideas for storage and living small. We are believers also, and we love your music; you are both so talented. I, too, am a musician and finding places to store all my musical instruments is a challenge (a Yamaha piano, 3 Indian flutes, a lap dulcimer, a soprano ukulele and a baritone ukulele). Plus, I knit, sew, weave and spin fleece. Life is good living small and being free. May God bless you both with a happy and fulfilled life. You are a blessing to me.

Hello E & B, My love for the protection of our Earth has driven me to become a "Minimalist Practitioner." I have changed the way I think. I buy only out of necessity. I use natural products that minimize pollution to our eco-system. I love to repurpose whenever there is a need. I have been living in a 364 sq ft. studio apartment for 27 years. I thank God everyday for my beautiful space. I live in a beautiful city. I live very simple, and practically free because I am under rent control. What I miss the most is having a back yard to grow my veggies. For now this is my home. Thank you for sharing how to live simple, live free. You are a lovely couple. All the best. New sub.

Dearest Elizabeth~you took my breath away! That was the most beautiful thing I think I have ever heard on youtube. I had to replay it for my husband, who was equally moved. We also really enjoyed hearing Bill jump in there with you, and the contrast of his voice with yours was so lovely~thank you both SO MUCH for sharing of yourself so freely and in such a heartfelt way. It's so inspiring and comforting and all around feels so good to watch and listen to any and all of your posts. I wanted to touch briefly on the concern you have with maybe not always being physically able, though your spirit is willing, to answer back every comment. To me, it seems like the comments section is largely meant to be a space for viewers to respond to the content of your videos-which ARE you folks speaking, sharing and answering us! I can certainly understand wanting to answer a direct question a viewer may have, but you have already more than "commented" by way of the videos and all that they include. The very nature of what you're doing , in ministering to so many , is far more inclusive and conversational than being able to reply briefly to every single comment. I do not wish to speak for all, simply sharing my perspective~hope that all made sense:) Again, thank you for all that you continue to bless us with, we look forward to every post, and God bless all that you endeavor, abundantly~ Samantha and Dan Whitson in AZ

Hi Elizabeth & Bill, I just subscribed, and I have watched most of your videos prior. One thing I love best about you is that you are always saying 'grateful'. You talk about what you have been through, and it's wonderful that you are still close to the Lord and give thanks to God...that's when the testimony really counts and the rubber meets the road in your faith. God bless you both. I agree, the music is beautiful! Here is a verse that came to me thinking of you: I Peter 1:7 "These trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it-and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of his return."

I am really enjoying your video's. I have a traumatic brain injury from several years ago that has changed so many things in my life, so I understand a lot of what Elizabeth shares about her stroke. God has been so good to me and He is the only reason I am still here. Stress and fatigue are my biggest enemies. They can really mess things up with the functioning of my brain. God has been talking to me about simplifying what I can in my life. I came across you guys on KZbin. I don't know how other than the Lord lead me to you. I am so encouraged by both of you, your faith and your story. You are a living example to me of living simple. It is helping me make small changes in my life. Thank you. We also are musicians and writers and give the Lord all our praise for we know the plans He has for us are for good and for a future. My sweet Elizabeth... I have lived this way for quite some time, although not quite 250 sq ft. Many of the suggestions u shared work very well, as I am living proof. There is no feeling quite like living debt free, esp since the passing of my husband several months ago. I live on a SSD monthly check also, and losing Steve's income hurt, but with God's gracious assistance I, too, get by. Praise Him in all things. Life is working and I am a work in progress. Blessings from deep in my heart to you and Bill. I love you both so very much. You've provided a bright spot in my life.

Wow! Thanks for sharing, I haven't lived in my tiny house yet,I'm still working on it, in my front yard, lol. In between battling health problems, I do a little here and there on it, it's all weather proofed, almost finished on the outside, and I can't wait to do the inside, that I will do while I live in it. It's built on a trailer, and is 8x16 feet, with a loft. I am glad I happened upon your channel, you make it real, the thing that I look forward to the most, is the freedom. You guy's are so sweet and gracious, I have chosen to be alone, so I won't be in mine or another's way, lol, but that's pretty amazing how you guy's do it, that's pretty small, but like you say, there's so much less stress in your lives now. It my brain gets tired, I walk like a drunken one year old, my face and hand go numb, and I can't play or type anymore. The reason I've gotten as much movement back as I have is because the stroke damaged mainly sensory areas, and not as much motor function areas. You've had three strokes!? Bless your heart. Thanks for sharing those really great tips! Budgeting has been a challenge for us. I went from a full time to part time job 3 years ago. My husband has a full time job. We weren"t wealthy but had more than enough. What we've had to learn is that we can do without many things. Including eating out. Our lifestyle has changed, in my opinion, for the better. We continue now to move towards self reliant living and managing what we have being good stewards over what God has given us. We've lived in 850 sq. ft. for 30 years and hope to one day make our home in our 34' travel trailer, down sizing even further. Your journey will help us a lot!

I just watched this video and Wow! You and your husband singing together touched my soul, I don’t know if you planned on Bill singing, or if he did it to support you. Either way, it was an added blessing to hear and see you sing to the Lord. I had pneumonia last year, and the year before. Since then I can’t reach the notes, or octaves I used to. I sing in my home all the time despite that little issue. I’m hoping that if I keep trying the Lord will give me back my gift of song. Be Blessed and thank you for sharing a part of your life with us.

Even though my oven gets used only once in a blue moon to bake, it's a challenge finding a good temporary spot for the cast iron ware while using it. Love you both and Empty Hammock, too!

Enjoyed your budget ideas. I'm from the 'envelope' generation. I would split out the money each week into envelopes... These days it's a bit different since not many people use cash anymore. Love your cast iron collection. I used to keep my pans in the oven also - I have a very small kitchen. Thank you for your videos - I really enjoy them.

Bill and Elizabeth, the both of you sing beautifully! And From one musician to another Elizabeth you play the keyboard very well! Would like to hear the bass accompanying the keyboards next time.

+Lady T. Thank you. I love to have Bill play along on the guitar or bass. He plays guitar on our "decorating for Christmas" video.

I love how you have each other to share your tiny home. That makes life a lot more fun. Plus you don't allow any disability to keep you down. Have you read about PQQ.. or Q10 and B vitamins? PABA has to do with hair color and other B's help to clear the body system.. I love how neat you keep your home.

Easy bedmaking hack. Install small pulleys on wall on each side of headboard. Thread enough cord through each pulley to reach foot of bed. Pull sheet and blankets and spread to foot of bed. End of each cord is tied to a binder clip or clothes pin. Start with the sheet. Tuck it in at foot, attach a binder clip to top of sheet about where the sheet will touch the edge of the bed when it is pulled into position. Pull the cord through the pulley. When positioned correctly, undo clips and affix them to blanket repeating process for each blanket and spread.
