Great job!! I love it and very well thought out. I was going to ask why you swung the refrigerator doors that way but then noticed they would have pinched on the wall if they went the other way. Good thinking on conserving space.

thats just good old fashion american hick mentality... splash of apocalypse or zombie conspiracy theorist maybe. Not saying he is, just the sentiment something people here would think about.... more guns than people
@jinatlas86744 жыл бұрын
@@SirCheese710 Why wouldn't any Americans have that mentality? Who know when someone with a gun would appear out of nowhere and start shooting people cause he/she have a bad day? Am I right like a recent case about guy from Murica shooting inside a mall just cause he was denied to watch movie.

I would like to make a suggestion. For the storage by the slide out. I would put a net or some sort of device to ensure that nothing falls out of the cubby. Had that happen once and it was a bit of a pain to get out. We use a net now and made a difference. Sometimes u just gotta hit a bump just right for something to fall.

@StarGateSG73 жыл бұрын
You are very right in that the slides are definitely the hardest part of this build. In terms of Do-It-Yourself (DIY) slide-outs holding up over time, it depends if you use cable assembles vs hydraulics and whether the square tubing is thick enough and strong enough NOT to bend down (i.e. has tensile strength) when teh slide-out are extended over hours and/or days. I personally would build this ENTIRELY out of 8000-series Aerospace Aluminum with 3x3 tubing that have quarter inch wall thicknesses. It's quite heavy and expensive at that wall thickness when it's 8000-series Aerospace grade but I'm willing to spend the money for high tensile strength (Flexion and torsion-resistant!) The walls I would use 1/8th inch thick aluminum plate and use the fancy R2000-level -45C winter-rated insulation foam for the entire interior insulation and coat the metal cabin walls, floor and ceiling on the Outside AND Inside with Line-X truck bed liner coating for water and corrosion-proofing. It also makes the interior very quiet and free from all the outside world noise! -- I must admit that this is a SUPERB BUILD!!! Great Job! WOW! v
@michaeltillotson70444 жыл бұрын
Wow just wow! I read a bunch and "liked" a bunch of the comments. I just agree with everyone's sentiments about how impressive this build is. Couple questions I wished were answered are: what is the weight of the rig, what's the mpg, and how's it drive. All I can say is these videos and enthusiasts that create these builds and go on theses adventures are inspirations!
