@@selfesteem3447 I can't do fostering. I get too attached to the little furballs. So, instead, I give kittens and cats at the local kill-shelters a home when I can. I keep three cats at a time. When one dies, after a while, I'll go get another one. I go many years between adopting new cats, but the cats I do adopt have a loving owner who takes care of them. My current three are: Rudy - a 6 year old neutered male gray/brown tabby, Cloud - a 4 year old spayed female domestic shorthair (white base with gray patches on top that look like storm clouds, hence the name), and Socks - a 3 year old spayed female tuxedo. I likely won't be adopting another one until either: A.) I get a larger place to live, or B.) One of them dies.
@sheilahammond42603 жыл бұрын
Yes. A forever home is best, but if you aren't able to provide that then fostering helps to free up spaces in the shelter, and gives older cats more chance of adoption. It's much easier to find kittens a home, and they don't get so attached when small. Just so long as they are loved and cared for. I can see that your little ones love you already, but kittens adapt quickly! 💕

@Genaro Scala I’m sorry but your explanation makes zero sense to me. Maybe someone else understands what your comment means but I’m afraid I don’t understand The reference to Easter and Hellfire??? Sorry I don’t get your meaning?? ✌🏻
@Waveluth3 жыл бұрын
@Genaro Scala Okay I get it but why would you mention Easter or thinking about sex? The subject was about compassion for animals. I can’t be the only person that isn’t getting the connection. I’m confused. It makes no sense at all. ?????????? 🧐🧐🧐

I'm a security guard and at work I deal with alot of stray cats. I've seen many kittens become big and strong in the past 2 years working in the property I'm at. They're cute and very fast, it's a shame that some of them don't make it but most do and we're able to capture some of them to be adopted eventually

We did this with four babies who lost their mama. We took them everywhere with us. We ended up being a foster fail, though. They are four years old now. I actually have a video of them on my channel from around the time we rescued them from the shelter that was going to euthanize them. ♥️
