Been loving the Tacoma content! I also have a first gen with a Leer 122 topper. I have the same string lights in mine and found that the sticky side of some heavy duty velcro works really well to secure them to the headliner. I was able to get mine nice and taught that way. Happy trails, you're making me miss Oregon!

I actually enjoy seeing you get back to your minimalistic camping style. A Buddy Heater, Ramen, Pour-Over Coffee, and a good Book 📖... sounds like a great camping trip to my thinking.

Beautiful scenery in this video. Do not give up on your little truck camper right away. I am 74 and I’ve been camping in a tiny home built square drop camper about the size of your bed probably and I’m very comfortable. You just have to think backpacking and not big RV. Simplicity is great!. Looking forward to more of your videos. I’ve been watching for a long time and watched you go through so many campers! Stay safe travel well.

New Guy with Same Name here :) camping the way I like it. Low dollar builds, camping isn't just for people with RV and Earth Roamer money. Now I just with the cost of decent supplies was more affordable. Good work and gorgeous waterfall views.

Hey brother, great vid! I have a very similar set up. Top tip: I found out the hard way you have to watch the roof material doesn't singe from the Buddy heat going straight up! They sell heat activated fans cheap, like on a wood stove, w a bracket made just for the Buddy heater. Now the heat blows across me instead of just straight up...worth it!

Nice to see more regular videos from you. I don’t mind that you’re not in the camper, although I do miss those videos, but that you’re out in nature enjoying yourself and capturing its beauty. I couldn’t tell if you were wearing ice cleats on your boots, it doesn’t look like, but it’s super useful and added insurance and confidence when walking on icy or packed down snow. I definitely recommend you get a pair for safety and it allows you to go in places that’s not possible if you don’t have it. I use the Kahtoola MICROspikes which has lasted me years, however, there’s many other reliable brands.

Yay, Jon's back in the saddle again. Beautiful scenery, but those trails are scary! Uneven footing + snow = yikes! I do like those single serving Spam packets, although it's a costly way to eat it -- handy for camping. I've been following a tinned fish channel lately, which is my favorite travel meat. It will be interesting to see how Kaya likes the new bed.
