Jonathan, I spent a large part of my life "not wanting to be here," as you put it. The only thing that kept me here was not wanting to hurt other people in my life. Eventually, I found out that I have severe food allergies and that some of the foods were causing the depression. If you have a chronic or long-term problem of sadness or depression without any outward cause (ie: death of loved one, etc), this is something that should be checked for, but most doctors never make the connection. Sadly, I personally, get allergic to everything so I can't avoid what I am allergic to, but most people are not this bad off, thankfully. Just something for you to consider if your problem doesn't seem to have any obvious cause. Your bus is amazing and I'm glad you are enjoying the road you are traveling. We traveled off and on over the years, first in a 15 ft travel trailer and then in a 27 ft 2nd hand RV. Loved seeing our beautiful country! Enjoy the journey!

When I was a little kid my family bought a city bus to convert to a home. City buses then were taller, my dad was 6’4” tall. The bus was a permanent fixture at a small campground. We loved that time. Your bus is gorgeous and has everything you could ever need.

I have watched many many many, did I say many, bud build and just plain tours of buses. And I have to say I love the footprint of your layout and the way things just come together and look so intentional and yet you still have so much space. I love the sentiment about mental health and finding your balence when everything else is out of whack then the only choice you have is to keep going. I give up is not an option in my life either - you just have to regroup,build your resources up again and try a different way. You and your dog are inspirational, and your bus is fabulous. The only thing I would add is perhaps folding fencing which can be erected on the roof just in case of a person falling off. Thanks for showing an another way of life.

Jonathon did such a good job designing the bus. I love the timber shelves in the living room, the fireplace and the custom cabinets in the kitchen. It's one of the first buses that look very much like a tiny home once inside because he covered the walls and took out most of the windows. Really nice re-model.

This bus 🚌 is absolutely amazing. There's a lot of planning over the years... and then after those years of research & planning... the materials & build came together top notch. I also like... and have said things like this for a number of years now... if living in a rougher neighborhood, or when living in a tiny home 🏡 home on wheels... that the outside of the house/bus/RV/Van/etc...should be renovated with paint & materials in such a way that the place blends in to the area... and/or be made to look like it's not in as good of shape. Just like how he painted the outside of his bus in more neutral colors... where it blends in better to it's surroundings in nature. And at any city/town parking lots... it's not going to stick out from especially further back... and of course up closer around others vehicles. From the outside look of this bus... you'd have no idea how nicely it's designed inside. Unlike where people leaver their bus 🚌 the school bus yellow 🚌... which is literally a color designed to stick out from a far. As for homes in rougher neighborhoods. If someone renovated the outside to fit the same looks as the other homes 🏡 in the neighborhood. Instead of buying the siding & foam brick that's a different look then the other homes 🏡... Buy wood siding & trim. You can install newer windows & new doors... to help with the installation value for heat loss & keeping the place cooler in the summer... And of course because of increasing the security levels. But they don't have to be seen as new from the street view. The outside of the door can be painted to look worn & older. The new window frames can be hidden from the street view... by painting wood trim & flashing to look older & worn & built wider to cover the bright white shiny window frames. The window glass can also get privacy/sunblock window film... that from the outside you can't see into the window... but your view is unobstructed from the inside. You can also get different designs on the side of the window film that faces the streets. A couple design ideas💡 ... for living in the hood... would be get some custom printed to look like aluminum foil... and others printed to look like sheets with bedsheet patterns on them to look more realistic... and get others to look like flags... and get some to look like Curtains & others like blinds. As for the exterior walls of the house 🏠... get wood siding... that's painted to look older & worn out. By making the outside of the home 🏡 look older & worn out... no one would suspect how nice it is inside the house 🏠. Not only that. But whenever you spend money 💰 to make the outside of the house 🏠 to look nicer... the city & town raise your property taxes because they assume it's super nice & newly renovated inside. But if you make it look older & worn... they will lower your taxes to suit it.
