Finally, a conversion that I could live with. I've seen so many awesome conversions of schoolies, box vans, ambulances, etc., but they would not support my lifestyle and take me to where I love to be, the Pacific North West. In the 1980s a buddy and I drove from Northern CA (US) to the Canadian border and back, 3,300 miles on Honda XLs. On the way up we stayed as high as we could in the Sierras and then the Cascades riding mostly U.S. forest service roads, fishing every place we could. On the way back we followed the coast running up a few roads that ran along rivers to chase sea run cutthroats. The reality, though, was that 95% of the roads we were on, this rig would have done fine. I also like to ski in the winter, and this rig looks like it would be awesome to park in a resort parking lot for a few days of skiing. I own my own sawmill, and have been working on a tiny house. This rig has inspired me to look into a GMC Topkick 4500 4X4 as a four season adventure vehicle. I think it would be a fun project.

@meowchabob3 жыл бұрын
Yeah not in the video, but it seems like its under the sink based on where everything else was said to be located (There's no drawer pull for under the sink but the cabinet space ends on the sides -- so the grey water's likely accessed from the outside rather than inside). Seeing as he also mentioned automation for all the locks and the water heating, I'm thinking they may have somehow automated their grey water dumping too? Likely they can plug a hose in somewhere on the outside and pump it out.

I love the collapsible hot tub. I wonder if they've ever thought about building those for somebody else but make it a more stylish. For those fancy people like me. I'd love to have that once I got my truck or van home. That would be an awesome business for them to run traveling around the country in the world delivering and building those for people.

You can buy inflatable hot tubs now, so that would be an easier option, but I like his ingenuity.

One of the best I have seen.With limited space compromise is a necessity eg the bathroom but for cost, function and design you got so much bang for your hard earned bucks. So many others I have seen look great but are going to fall apart in no time. I dont think this will and achieved without compromising design. No pull down makes such a difference. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from it. Its brilliant.

This is the most amazing and awesome 4x4 ambulance tiny house!! WOW! The toilet & hot tub are AWESOME add ons, too! The hot tub in the middle of a stream is just an unbeatable luxury that we'd need to have. We love winter, but, hate shoveling, this is the perfect solution! Tfs.

This is an awesome conversion! I love how you've utilized all of the outside storage lockers and converted the interior to be so spacious and practical! Plus, your power conversion system and propane heater have made this a perfect year round excursion camper! Really great!
