How did you print such a large sign? Do you have a printer that can do that, or did you get it printed at a print shop such as OfficeMax? Could I print it in two different papers and just align them on the stencil when under the UV light?

I have a printer that can print on our 11x17 printer film, then I made a 12x18 stencil. You can definitely print two 8.5x11 sheets and combine them to make the larger stencil.

Can I ask which paint you are using to mix with your Coco's chalk mix? I have that same wood frame and tried my chalk paint on it last night and noticed that just an hr later when i went to wipe off the chalk paint, it left an faded imprint of my design. Do you noticed that yours does that as well? I even used alcohol to help try to remove any color. I used Acrylic paint to make my chalk paint. I also noticed certain colors stain or are hard to get off. wondering if one brand of paint is better than another.

I’ve used multiple different brands of acrylic with no issues on this metal sign. I’ve swapped out the design on this metal sign 10+ times. In this video I used Anita’s Acrylic Paint to mix with my Coco’s. The only thing I would say is use an acrylic paint that’s not meant to be permanent (read the instructions on the bottle and if it says anything about air curing or baking those can be harder to get off).

Why couldn’t you leave the text in and just use a different color in that section?

Yes, you can do that. I talk about that at the 6:20 mark. It’s just my preference to separate the colors to make it easier.
