Rockstar vid as always Trug. Had a damaged van in for repair & paint - son chucked me his cast-off "Pro Grade" gun, he upgraded - I usually use cheapo p.o.s guns 'cos I'm cheap. Paint came out like glass right off the gun. Everyone here commented on how glass the finish was compared to the usual I put out. What changed? Paint didn't, primer didn't, method didn't, environment didn't - only the gun changed, went from a 50 quid gun to 200 quid gun & man did that make a difference. Every control did what it said - fan adjust adjusted the fan. Needle control adjusted the needle. Pressure adjust adjusted the pressure - I could set that gun to dance compared to the muck I'm used to where nothin adjusts nothing with any precision. Buy you a good gun Trug viewers - good guns matter.,

Its common not every shop removes everything. It all depends on the shop. I've worked in shops where they would remove the entire windshield and back glass entire car comes apart and now at this shop on the other end of the spectrum they don't really remove much. You definitely get a cleaner more OEM job when you remove everything. But it does add on an additional day or two just in removing parts, labeling nuts bolts, Then reinstalling everything ideally that is the way you want to do it.
