Sorry, they did tests by weighing the meat before and after cooking. Searing does not "seal in the juices". It *does* caramelize the sugars in the meat.

I wonder if you put veggies in first then meat on top veggies. This way meat drippings would season veggies. Fat side up on meat when placing on top veggies. I bet mushrooms and zucchini would also go well with other veggies. Thank you for sharing this nice recipe. 🍁🍂

That looks good! Let me pass on a recipe I use for pork loin. 1. pork loin seasoned 2. two cans of cream of mushroom soup 3. Two packages of pork gravy mix 4. One onion sliced 5. One cup water Dump everything in crockpot and cook on low for 8hrs or until you can shred with a fork. Spoon mixture over mashed potatoes. Enjoy.

Enjoyed the video John, that's a good looking roast. Something I found out from the original health nut, whose name I can't remember, when meat is cooked slow, it breaks the protein down more fully making it more digestible and more nutritious. You might as get what you paid. Liked the shout out Patara gave you, can't get away from fans.
