Thank you for the great vid! I know it depends on species & their breeding rates, but how do you know when you have enough isopods in a colony/bin to be able to sell some of them?

Also, how do you know when to change the substrate? Any tips on separating the isopods from the substrate when doing this? I've always found this a huge pain because I haven't found an efficient method to separate the pods (especially mancae) from the old substrate to make sure I don't get rid of any living isopods

The rubber duckies are cool. Here in the US they are still pretty pricey compared to other isopods that have been in the hobby a similar length of time. They are slow growers and breeders which has kept the price higher. Panda kings are also really adorable, they are a cubaris species as well and have the little faces, and they breed faster so the price of them has fallen here dramatically. Maybe that would be a good option where you are as well?
