Thanks! I was told by a customer at work that she collects rocks and shells and random stuff at a popular beach. She just digs with her hands and she has found gold.... I'm going to that beach this week!!!

Lol!!! Funny!!! You don't dig clad!!! That's ok then your missing gold rings!!! I have dig up silver rings that came up a 12-36 or 12-37 on the CTX. I have also dig up gold rings that came up as a 12-44 (dime)on the CTX!!! Turns out to be class rings!!! Your missing the best stuff by not digging clad. Yeah it's pain to dig coins sometimes but your miss stuff!!! Nice stuff!!!! Another great example is a local hunter here would not dig up any dimes or quarters till one day he was hunt one Beach area where targets were very scarce then he gets a 12-44 on his CTX thinking oh well it's a dime I will dig this but it wasn't a dime. It's was a 64 gram school ring!!!! Yes 64grams!!!! Now he digs all coin targets!!!!

Bud, my point is, when time is limited, I focus on the signals most likely to be gold. It is a numbers game. Yes out of 100 clad signals, one or two may be gold. But if you ignore clad signals when time is short, then the time isn't going for the 100:1 odds. It is digging more gold related signals. -- Does it bypass some good signals? Absolute. Does it pay off for me quite often when I do it? Yes it can. I do dig clad signals too at times, depends on what my focus is for the day.

Hi! Excellent video! I did not understand that: "x-01 through 35 high tone. 36-84 low. 85+ high" What is your tone profile and target separation? Thanks!
@tkdetecting21477 жыл бұрын
Hi Vladimir. In the Tone profile, I choose 4 tone-CO. I set a range from 01 through 35 so that it has a tone pitch of 1190 or so (a very high tone). I set the range from 36 through 44 to have a low tone (210 or so) and then set the remaining 45 and higher to have a high tone again (1190). That way, only the signals in the range I want (gold and silver) will sound really high to catch my attention. The other tones (usually clad) are low tones and I ignore those. Let me know if that helped clear it up or not. I could grab a screen shot of the screen to show you if needed.

Hi TKDetecting! Thanks for the explanation! On my CTX3030 the conductive range is from 1 to 50. I do not have 85 and higher. I use "response" on "smooth" and target separation on "low trash", is that ok?
@tkdetecting21477 жыл бұрын
Vlad, that was a typo on my part, the 85 or higher should have been 45 or higher. For response, I use normal and target separation is coin/ferrous. I am not saying yours won't work though but that is what I use. Personal preference.
