The underwater shots are very appreciated. As someone coming back into fishing from a boy and not knowing much. It is very nice to have a visual of what I'm buying is actually doing.

really appreciate the comment, good motivation to keep on the underwater video. Best of luck getting back into the game.

One of my favorite lures!!! Caught a 8.9 lb Bass last week here in East TX on a weightless Fluke around heavy moss beds and grass in about 3ft of water. Thanks for video!!!

Good presentation of knowledge Flukes are so versatile even as a wacky presentation

Flukes used to be one of my go to lures. I dont throw it much any more but i definitely need to get back into it. Imo one of the most versatile lures. I know about a dozen ways to rig one to fish it differently and im sure theres many more

My all time fish producer, weightless, weighted hook, use it as trailer on an underspin. Can't beat it. I'm just getting used to the donkey rig. I prefer the paddle tail type cuz if I need the split tail action I just cut paddle down. Good video thanks for the tips.

I love fishing flukes!! My favor day on the water was at Bull Shoals watching about 20 bass stare at it then one just unloads on it!! Great fish catcher!

@wired2fish - great video! Reminds of spring time bass fishing with the “slug-go” on a straight shank worm hook back in the day!
@Wired2Fish5 жыл бұрын
Pretty much the same thing! The Slug-Go is still an excellent lure! Thanks for refreshing our mind on it.

I love flukes. I've found that a nail weight is too heavy so I'll put a trim nail in the tip of it to make it sink a little faster. I'll fish it in the shallow and let it hit the bottom and bass almost always pick it up. Tight lines everybody🐡🐋
@Wired2Fish5 жыл бұрын
Good tip and an affordable one too. Trim nails can be the perfect amount of weight.

Nice idea. My watering holes tend to be for drainage so people are driving down in the beds when it dries up so it may not work for my spots, but the rivet should be tire safe, though more work

Great video! Is 30lb braid on the baitcaster your ideal line weight? I've heard to go at least 40-50lb so it doesn't dig in. I've been contemplating on either 30lb or 50lb on my baitcaster paired with either a 7'3 M or 7'1 MH. I appreciate it! Thanks!
@Wired2Fish4 жыл бұрын
Go best of both worlds and fish 40lb! Also technique and geographically specific. M or MH probs best with 40 though.
@chrisrivera35154 жыл бұрын
@@Wired2Fish Perfect. I went with 40lb! Thanks so much!

Ive never used these as anything but a trailer on a big double blade spinner. News to me you can just use the fluke lol

Are you having any problems with that enigma reel? Mine seems to have a bad bearing right out of the box.

Sorry to hear that. This one is actually a 13 Fishing Inception Sport Z Casting Reel (link in description). It's been an excellent product for us thus far.

You should consider 'summer birding' to Minnesota. Water temps are still in the 60s and they're chomping awesome.
