THIS HELPED SO MUCH. Nobody told me stepping up with your right foot first could drive more power into your hit. They always told me step with opposite foot. Thank you so much

Thanks for the tip! I quit volleyball for 2 years because my friends discouraged me to stop playing, when i went to school because i went to another country i knew thst my volleyball spirit was still in me! Im now learning how to float serve because i can do a normal Serve, thank you for the tip!! ♥️

*stance* • turn diagonally from ur stance *footwork* _right left right_ • stance has left foot in front • after putting your right foot in front u toss the ball • you walk towards the ball using your left foot, when u hit the ball u move ur right foot forward *toss* • toss the ball in front of your right shoulder • the ball should be tossed near the line

this is awesome, im an older volleyball player who does not know how to float serve. Cant seem to figure out how come im not driving force to my serve but hopefully when i retrieve back my ball (it’s in my neighbor’s backyard,unfortunately) I can apply and practice with these tips.Thank you!

Omg the shoulder rotation tip is so useful, I always serve with a straight body so I'll try a 90° feet position Edit: the chin tip is also very very good, first time I've seen that. Also just by watching the last serve the steps approach taught me how to get more power so thanks overall!

I found this vid and tried serve for an hour after watching like 5 times. Immediate great help. Thank you! For language reasons, I don't get the part about eyes. For the part of pull the chin, does it mean don't move your head or neck around too much? To keep stable? For the look closely at the ball and image dots part, I have no idea what that means. Maybe it means to concentrate on the ball hence the contact area with palm? Could anyone please help me with this?
@sdvolleyballenglish20202 жыл бұрын
that's right! It is important not to raise your chin as much as possible so that your eyes do not move up and down! I'm using the translation function, so I'm sorry I couldn't convey it well!
@cipheromen2 жыл бұрын
@@sdvolleyballenglish2020 thank you for your reply! I have practiced according to your series for a week and what improvement it is! I now somehow understand the eyes and dots part: it's about concentration. don't say sorry about translation, as we can understand from body movements!

Pretty much drown out the other side of the court, your entire focus should be on the ball, so much so, that you notice the smallest details
