I remember watching your first tutorial about 4 years ago, right when i was getting into the sport. Now, I'm just about 2 weeks away from one of the biggest gathering tournaments in my country, with over 50 different teams participating. I'm one of my clubs strongest servers and attackers at the level I'm playing, and a lot of it can be contributed to you. Thank you so much for all the content you've provided during these years, it has been an incredible journey that I'll probably follow until the day you stop posting

After getting serious ligament injury in football at age 15, I adopted much safer game volleyball, I'm 61years old but still love to play alongside boyz qtr my age, I also train them, I love float serves rather than power jump serves.

I like that you speak clearly and not so fast. I started playing volleyball qhen i was 10 , just passing balls with my playmates in front of our house . Then i always koin tschool tournaments in high school and college and even at work during summer tournaments. i am at my happiest whenever I play volleyball. When my children were in high school i joined the parents ans teachers tournament. I was in mt mis 40’s when i last played. Now I am 60 and my daughters asked me to teach and play with them. I can still run and climb stairs faster than them but i am eager to know what the necessary warm up exercises a 60 year old should do to avoid injuries. Thank you 🙌🏽

As an active dad, who daughter has found her passion for a sport which is volleyball, above all, loving the Libero position this video as well as your channel is very beneficial. Thank you. My Only "gripe" is that I really would like to know what brand of shoe that you are wearing and the link to purchase some LOL. I love the fact that they're flat allowing for near grounding but letting your foot be true to form. Amongst other benefits.

I will do all the tips and instruction on my practice tomorrow morning. I love the drill with wall ,apparently it will give a lot of information to analyses our serve . Thank you so much. Im really looking forward to make my float serve finally go over the net, i hope it help me ❤

What really helped me get a consistent float with barely any spin is hitting with the bottom meaty part of my hand. Doing that instead of hitting with the middle palm made it sooo much easier

I do a two handed toss. It feels more natural as you go through the hitting mechanics (rather than leaving your hitting arm in the Nike "swoosh" position as you toss) This gets you a more consistent toss (especially in the wind/beach.) Additionally (not mentioned) as you step forward with your lead leg you are transferring your weight forward/into the ball with your static hand. This with your torsional rotation is how you get a powerful serve. Using your body weight is super important for those of slighter builds. Bonus: Practice rotating your hand ever so slightly just before the point of contact to hit the lines (you don't want to telegraph.) Setting up, I like to stand in the middle (or off center) to serve.

Thanks for the video! I followed the instructions in the original one, which helped me improve power and reduce spin a lot. My main problem right now is consistency. I hit the top of the net a lot, and when I'm trying to go higher, I lose a lot of power or go very long. Will try the wall drill next time I'm in a gym to diagnose.

Thanks for watching the original video too! I’m glad that it helped. Thanks for sharing your challenges. Let me know if the wardrobe helps you find the ideal height to serve at.

Always love your videos.. Should add a caviot for younger players.. if your not tall enough, hitting flat at head height won't clear the net. Causes elbow drop. Beginner and young players contacting low /mid ball and higer on swing is important. I only day this because i share your video's with my academy and 12u players that need something to review at home.

there are things I struggle with, i keep hitting just shy of over the net, sometimes it goes over and sometimes it doesnt, but a consistent pattern is not having enough power on my serves. I am a beginner of 1 to 2 months, and even though my bumping is coming along nicely my serving is faulty. Also in my serves where i just do a standing serve, if i dont stretch properly i hurt my shoulder. so idk if thats a sign that im trying way too hard to hit the ball as fast as i could. Please help me out
