Tips for getting tickets to the Eras Tour UK (Selected, Waitlisted and if you didn't register)

Thank you for all the tips. I have been a long time Swiftie and bought my first CD all the way back in 2008 when my daughter was only 2 years old but only ever had the finances to buy tickets in 2020 when Hyde Park was cancelled. So Era's was a must attend event for us and we entered the Great War with the Midnights Pre-Order event and were over the moon to secure two lower bowl seats midway up just off the end of the stage. We also had a panic call from my daughters friend who mis-understood the pre-order process and never got tickets and was devastated. With the two slots we never used we were able to get them two nose bleed seats on closing night which they are over the moon with. Although it looks like I am going to gift these tickets to them as I don't have any transfer options in the AXS app - happy to do that for fellow fans and hopefully that will generate some good Karma. If I may I would like to offer two more tips that you might not have mentioned. On the AXS website, while waiting for the wait room to open I was just browsing the website, looking at dates etc. This was enough to make AXS think I was a bot. Another fan came to my aid and told me to use mobile data on a mobile device. This allowed me to queue and luckily AXS released my IP address after about an hour of no use at all and I was able to complete my purchase on the PC. So the tip here is don't browse the website while waiting if on the AXS site as it seems really sensitive to bot activity, in fact just sit back and everything was automatic once in the waiting room. My second tip for me at least was to use Paypal to check out for AXS if you have it. This really speeded up the checkout process and took away any stress in completing the purchase by removing the need for any banking apps etc.

I second the pay pal tip!!! On wednesday i got through TWICE and managed to get tickets and input all my payment details and then for some reason there was an error with my card and the page reloaded, and then i couldn't even rejoin the queue because my code was invalid. def recommend using paypal just to be safe!!

Thanks for all the effort and the always cheerful approach to your videos! Hope you‘ll also be able to secure your UK tickets if not already happened. I‘m from Germany and our ERAS Sale is most likely almost over now. Technically everything worked quite fine, I had only to wait around half an hour to get through. But all regular tickets were already not available anymore. The only option was VIP Packages. A bit pricey, but at least I was able to secure a ticket for Munich. Very much looking forward for my first TS Concert ever. She only played four German Shows in the past and I wasn’t really aware of her before Folklore/Evermore. The National is one of my favorite bands and as I heard Aaron Dessner was involved with those albums and there is also a Collaboration with The National I was kind of surprised, because for me Taylor was kind of a pop/country star and I wouldn’t ever have imagined that there could be common ground between Bands like The National and somebody huge and very popular like in the range of Taylor. But I never actually really listened to any of her songs before, just assuming they wouldn’t be for me. I was very, very wrong. During the last two years I bought all of her CDs ( I found your channel because of your CD Collection Video! Great to see other people still care about CDs and not only Vinyl!), watched her Netflix and Disney+ Specials and became more and more found of her and her work. The Eras Tour feels to me like one of the few moments in time, where an artist is most likely on its absolute peak, both commercially as from an artistic point of view. It’s very exiting to be ablecktet see here in Munich next year. Here in Germany the concerts are actually not sold out yet. The three most expensive VIP Packages are still available. And People from the Waiting list could apply for those tickets even on the day of the sale itself. So it happened quite quickly and even if it’s quite expensive (between 350€ and 650€), but at least you know it’s legit and the prices are not as high as second market prices in the US or other VIP Packages from other big artists (Beyoncé had VIP Packages here in Cologne up to 2.500€!) Liverpool has a lower capacity (54,000 compared to 90,000), however it probably means more people have codes to the London one? London may still be easier though, no idea tbh 😭

In the UK, you can only get resell tickets from Ticketmaster or Axs ❤️

I purchased a ticket for the first August Wembley day on the Midnights presale. In all honesty I’m still in disbelief. Basically joined the waiting room for 11am sale was 36000 in the queue. Got down to 6000 before I left for the 1pm sale. In all honesty I was curious to see where I would be placed in the queue. So the sale came and I was 1769. As I stored my details a couple of days before meant I had the ticket purchased in 5 minutes. Maybe it was just birthday week luck.

I bought the tickets from my friend's Ticketmaster account! And I've her account ID and Password both! Can you please tell me if I could use that account to get in the concert? The ticket is ofcourse under my friend's name. Do they like, check names or IDs or email etc? (Ref: this is for the London shows)

Hi! This is just my own opinion and you’d have to contact ticketmaster for an actual answer. As long as you have the logins, you should be fine as long as the person obviously doesn’t change the login. With the Edinburgh tickets they were available for transfer 2 weeks before so it would probably be better to transfer them to your own account.

Hi! There will be age restrictions for the venue, especially with standing. Check the website of the venue you’re attending to find out specific details as each venue does vary

To people who are worried about AXS: I purchased nearly all my tickets from there and it was actually easier to use then Ticketmaster as Ticketmaster freezes most of the time im trying to buy a ticket !! Also Rachel thank you so much for this video and helping us Swiftie’s !! I got waitlisted but thanks to you I still have hope in me about seeing Taylor next year 🩷 Also if she would add extra dates , would we need to sign up for that again and wait if we get selected or waitlisted ? 🩷

@@Who12345_who Oh your planning to go to both dates ? If so then I recommend to try the 11 am sale first and try to get the tickets and then join the 1pm sale after that ! I don’t think that it would work if you use a different device ( for example log into your app on your phone and download the app on your laptop and log in and join both sales at the same time but from a different device ) !! So if you do the 11 am one first and then switch to the 1pm one then it should work !!
