I've been a Swifty since I decided to do a discog deep dive this past summer, (inspired by the popularity of midnights). I now own 4 of her 10 albums on vinyl (with tortured poets on the way), and have now fully learned most of the songs in her discography and watch a lot of Taylor Swift content. I’ve loved Taylor since I was 11 when I heard Teardrops on My Guitar. Got her first album for my 12th birthday! And I’ve always considered myself a Swiftie, because I was the only person I knew who not only liked Taylor but knew things about her relationships and music and such. Until about Lover Era. When I realized there was this super vibrant online community with so many inside jokes and such. I really felt like I was out of the loop and then I discovered some wonderful people online (Ally Sheehan and you are I look to the most because I feel kinship, but also can learn things). BLESS YOU for making this video!!!!!! I’m a middle-aged suburban mom (yikes) and started seriously diving into Taylor’s music since right around when Midnights came out. I don’t call myself a Swiftie because I don’t care who she dates and all that but I do love listening to Swifties’ takes on what all her lyrics allude to, and how they connect to older songs etc. Other than that, I’m just in awe of Taylor’s songwriting and vast knowledge of soo many topics, allowing her to incorporate all these references, and her vocabulary and lyrical genius 🙂

29:17 taylor followed THOUSANDS of people, so many in fact that she it the 5000 max following limit and she had to contact tumblr to get her follow limit raised for her account so she could follow more fans
