Tips for goth events | attending your first goth night

I live in a country where goth events are not a thing. I read about an event that was organized in 2013, but since then... Nothing 😂 so I don't go to goth events, I don't even know any goths in my area, so all my interaction is online and primarily with foreigners 🤷🏻‍♀️ such is life... I still enjoy the music, clothing style etc. I got to see the Cure at the Exit festival in Serbia to which we travelled with my husband a few years ago. It would probably be more interesting and better to have a community here, but then again I am an introvert with a small baby, so... 😂 I shall dance in my room with the curtains drawn 😆

I have a tip! It might be a bit overkill, but I always bring my health insurance cards with me, because you never know. I don't always have enough room in my bags for a lot of stuff, so I make sure I always bring those. Here in the US, we have a driver's club membership called AAA that will tow your car or help replace flat tires, etc, and I always bring that with me. There has been more than one time where my car didn't start at 2 am after the club. So I also shove those cards in my bag along with my credit card and ID.

I just have my SS number memorized so I do not need the cards.

Also, you can keep your card and insurance information in your phone. I just recently needed a tow, and all I did was call my insurance company (or use their app) and we had the tow on the way. I do not use AAA, but you could always make a note or keep a picture of the card!

Once again my friend, some very nice & well thought out tips/suggestions. It seems to me that I would enjoy the more "traditional Goth Night" filled with notable Post-Punk singles and some of the darker New Wave and early Alternative Rock of the '80s style'd music genres. Also nice fashion tips as well, as per always. Might I put in a suggestion for the Summer in a few months: Could you do a video on your favorite horror films? I was always curious since I love the genre (hence my name). Goedeavond!🦇🖤🐈‍⬛🎃

I'm going to my ever first Goth club next Friday and I'm a little nervous because I don't know anyone but Goth clubs have just about disappeared around my city so you kinda have to jump at them while you have the chance to keep them alive.
