As a retired teacher I can say you're a great instructor Sigoni!! You are breaking down the process in a well well organized and easy to follow program. I have been crocheting for a while, but mostly "flying from the seat of my pants". I'm going to use your program to teach my granddaughters how to crochet the right way!! 😉

Thank you so much Linda, that means a lot to me! I hope this course will help your granddaughters learn! I’ve tried to teach my 7 year old but he has no patience 😂

Love the way you teach! And love too your passion for imparting Knowledge of "THE CRAFT"...As an aging pupil, with a short visual memory( Memory banks are FULL-and need a bit o' trickery to hilight the new!😉) - a suggestion for contrasting the front and back of stitches? Use 2 - differently coloured?- stitchmarkers. 1- to surround the front pattern, BUT LEAVE THE MARKER IN. Then the 2nd to scoop the reverse of the stitch. Two markers that emphasise the contrast between front and back- in one now educated glance! Oh. I differentiate the singles: front: butt up! back: butt down.... Thank you thank you.😘

The reference of the one stitch looking like a butt made me laugh but now it’s the only way I see the stitch lol- this class as been great and very helpful!

Thank you!!I've been crocheting for quite a while. I stumbled upon one of your videos because I was searching for an answer about why my piece was leaning. I liked your video such that I subscribed to your channel and signed up for the masterclass. I figured I knew most of it already, but I knew I'd come away with something new too. This video was my a-ha moment! I NEVER knew that the sc and hdc turning chains were NOT counted as a stitch versus the dc and tc ARE counted!

Hi! I'm trying to make some swatches to practice and learn, and for now I understand how SC, (HDC; I'm thinking I got that right🤔😅) and DC work, but I cant figure out the TC... is there a clip about explaining HDC & TC? Love from The Netherlands!😊

I’m loving going through and really getting familiar with the basics! I love the double crochet stitch and am feeling pretty good with it. My main problem is that 11th stitch, at the end of each row, where your putting the stitch in that 3 chain of the turning stitch. Are there any tips or tricks? It is so tight and small I have to really work at the end of each row to get it in there. I’ve tried chaining those three loosely but then it just makes that stitch look bigger than all the rest. Any advice or tips greatly appreciated! 😊
@SigoniMacaroni10 ай бұрын
It sounds like you’re doing great!! Instead of making all three chains loose, try just making the third chain loose so that it’s easier to work into. It’s a pain 😂 but the more you crochet with different yarns you’ll notice that it’s easier/more difficult with certain types of yarn.

I'm having such a problem with the turning chairs. You say to double crochet into the top of the turning chain but I'm just confused at what that means exactly. I thought I figured it out but then I didn't.. then I tried to turn my work first and then chain 3 to see if once I got down to that I would be able to see the "top of the chain" but I'm still just as confused 😌

Hi Becky! If you don’t already have an Instagram, you don’t have to create an account. If you want Instagram it’s an app on your phone that you can download, create a profile, and upload pictures to. But you don’t have to do that. You can also share your swatches in the Facebook group or send them at me at hello@sigonimacaroni.com 😊

Hello, Sigoni. I am still having trouble achieving straight edges. I count the number of stitches in each row, and it is correct. I have double checked where I put the first stitch after the turning chain. And it is correct. My rows are not level. So I think my tension is off. I will try to post a picture. Can you help? Hope.

Hi Sigoni, the copy of the ebook I got is missing pages? Lessons 5, 6, 8, 9 & 10 are only 1 page and lesson 7 is two pages. And there's one pattern for the checkered washcloth.

Hi Larisa, the ebook listed in the description is just a free sample of the full 70+ page ebook. The free sample only includes the first 4 lessons and everything you listed. If you scroll all the way to the last page of the sample you can find where to purchase the full ebook
