My situation was so bad that I quit without a backup plan. I just couldn't stay and be attacked daily. I was being systematically torn down. It was amazing to watch it happen. Even with speaking to them about their behavior and my experience. It was insane. I had to escape for my mental and physical health.

I was not valued in a job I had been in for a year. One of the boss just trust in her secretary only. So she has the power to say whatever fake reviews to the boss. Another boss i served, just screamed my name every few minutes for a lot of meaningless task like printing out an email and asked me to copy five times. (Why not print 5 copies then???😑) He just wanna keep "ordering" me even nothing to feed his ego.... I left my job with compensated my salary then leaving immediately.

After a very long time coping with very unpleasant, two-faced individuals and putting blame on me for certain things by simply doing my job, I bided my time and I knew the situation would not change. It was sad for me because I absolutely loved my job to pieces and it was so fulfilling. It was the people, new people especially who were put into job roles that they didn't have much experience with. I had learned a lot to take things by the chin and work was a good distraction by coping with the negativity around me. New temporary staff were also treated so coldly and I tried to make them feel welcome. I even built a nice rappore with one of them and we made each other tea, which was such a nice gesture to get through a stressful shift. But my workplace didn't believe in introducing new starters to us and the work ethic was very tough. It was hard to switch off when leaving a shift because I became too depended on to do tasks that many couldn't do. I had to make the very tough decision to find a new job but thankfully it is similar to what I am doing. I kept my intentions quiet and I didn't proclaim that I had enough. When I got a new job with another company, the hardest part was giving my resignation to my current workplace and their reaction. I left in good faith and whilst I was taken for granted, I really wanted to do well and it was a shame that toxicity and bullying was a wake up call for me to look elsewhere. It was favouritism that sadly happens in a workplace. Those who are not happy in their jobs, please keep trying to find somewhere where you are valued and I hope good will come to you. If you do your best, God will do the rest. ❤

@@misotofu5789 I understand that some people don’t have the privilege to quit but nobody is forcing them to stay at their miserable job neither. For example, I hated my previous job so much that it made my life miserable, but instead of complaining and being angry all the time, I made the choice to get my education and to apply to other jobs. Now, I work for an organization that I love. So in the end nobody is forcing you to stay and work at your miserable job. If you stay and work there, it was your decision to stay and work there…I’m just telling people that there is hope and that there are better work environments that people can work for.

that toxic manager I had, she had a women wrapped around her fingers and controls her. She uses her as a right-hand man and tries to ply into the hearts of her employees, gets information from them, and then later uses that information against them in any way that they can. Both of them have a weird and nasty relationship as far as work ethics go. I was the butt of their joke for three month and I was put down constantly in a mean and very condescending way. If i spoke on this type of abuse my job would had been done for because its that toxic manger and her right-hand man's word against my own and the evidence provided on cameras. Im glad she fired me. I never felt so happy to be free from it all.

Currently dealing with a toxic work environment. One of the ladies is very insecure and jealous and always makes snide comments that clients love me, I have been working here the longest and mimics and copies my phone mannerism. Anytime anyone new starts she clings to them like a leech and manipulates them and tries to turn them against me, Gossips about me and gives me backhanded compliments. She quit 3 times than begged for her job back. She should be fired but the owner is desperate for employees. Recently she went to the officer manager and made up a lie and tried to get me in trouble and it did not work because nobody believed her. I am sick and tried of it.

But I more gladly sell cars (while I think people should buy less cars) with a good team that treats customers with respect and dignity. Than I would work for a seemingly noble non-profit that would actually be toxic workplace..and the work would not actually benefit the people it should.

Here's my situation. I am also stressed out. I needed to request a transfer. I could not handle the site anymore. Waiting for my boss to find me a new site. I had to leave the lawfirm account. Too much drama, too much politics. Putting a dead mouse inside my security blazer with an attached threatening post-it message is the straw that broke the camel's back. It is a toxic environment. I worked there for almost 2.5 years. The silent treatment became unbearable but the dead mouse and threatening note did it for me. Monday night was my last day. I am now a man without a site anxiously waiting to start working at a new location. People are really mean which is the main reason why I love to be alone. Thank God I have enough sense to save money for a rainy day. I hope to be at a site in the next few days. You say?

I am drowning in negativity I have had one toxic work environment to the next for the past 10 years I'm so drained I literally am drinking this week to forget how bad it is it's like most companies need to be sued.

It's hard to spot the toxicity right away. Companies sell themselves so well in the interviews. But surely there must be some decent companies out there?

Busted my a$$ for my position just to work for this new manager who disrespects women, minorities and is homophobic. He’s a bully to me as well always swearing and being straight out mean. I requested a transfer and was denied. Sad to leave the company but I found someone who will match my pay 😊.

My coworkers are grinding my last nerve but I don’t know if it’s them or if it’s just me being temperamental .😐

What do in a case where the boss os the toxic one toward everyone, and you feel like youre walkinh eggshells and every other day theres a new enployee because someone either got fired or left. And you cant go to HR becuase HR is the owners mother. And you spoke to boss about there behaviors aka verbal and sometimes physical (a spank). What do i do? Im highly paid mostly because ive been the most consistent worker and all the load falls on me ive only been working there for 2 years. Ive started looking elsewhere. Im at the point where i just want to walk out mid shift 😩 or go and study for a different field or maybe a trade for the time being.

That sounds toxic to me.... difficult would be like different personalities learning to work together. I'm sorry to hear if that is what you're dealing with 😔
