Hi Adam. My name is Mike. Your videos are the best I’ve seen on KZbin. I watched a ton of others until yours came up and I’ve been watching every single one you made. For the past three days I needed some tweaking with my hitting. Especially my clubs and a little on my driver. Since watching your videos I’ve been hitting my clubs solid and my drivers straight and far. I’m talking about 282 yards on my driver and clubs exactly straight and where I want it to fall. Your the best compared to all the others. Thank you !

Adam, The only thing missing from this video is the arms. In the picture of Rory and Fuzzy both have their arms hanging from their shoulders. What do you teach? Also how much should the arms play in providing power?
@Scratchgolfacademy7 жыл бұрын
+Ted Kraft Thanks Ted. Yes, I like the arms to hang down from shoulders, maybe a little more reach with a driver. Certainly the arms are part of the power chain. I'd say that how much of a role they play would depend somewhat on an individual, and the way they are built. All the best, Adam

Have you covered other aspects of set-up in other videos? Distance from the ball, hand , arm, club positions?
@Scratchgolfacademy8 жыл бұрын
I have done several videos touching on different aspects of the set up. If it's of interest to you on October 12th I am launching the new premium part of the website at www.scratchgolfacademy.com and will have comprehensive, step by step video courses in all aspects of the game. If you'd like you can go to the site now, sign up with your email at the free part of the site, enjoy new videos there, and we will keep you posted. Best, Adam

Hi Adam, great vdo on posture. I have a problem with standing distance to the ball. It is inconsistent and as a result, I surprise myself with shanks or skulling the golf ball, although at times I do hit a few great shots. Any tip to have assure some consistency? Thanks in advance.
@Scratchgolfacademy7 жыл бұрын
Thanks. It's not easy to be super consistent with that. Assuming the posture is good I'd recommend the arms hang about straight down from your shoulders (viewed down the line). Hope this helps a little. Best, Adam

When I have the shoulders back I also sense that the I create more space between my upper arms, is that correct?
@Scratchgolfacademy6 жыл бұрын
Yes, you might sense that a bit. I don't think there is a single perfect posture for all golfers. I'd play around with it (ideally in front of a mirror) until you find the blend of athleticism and comfort that best fits your body. All the best, Adam

at 76 years I've become way too upright in posture. I think the result is a swing that stays in front of me resulting in no power. If I drop my club on my shoulder at the top of the swing it lands between my neck and my shoulder. Thanks for this. It might have kept me in the game.
