Nice video about responsible fishing, straight to the point, important information given, and good delivery by the host. Just a small suggestion that could have a big impact, when you mentioned weighting crab pots down because 12,000 pots are lost each year that trash the ocean and 100,000 crabs die, you could also mention the fact that loose pots with ropes attached also endanger the many species of resident wildlife that are dependent on the Puget Sound and make it their home who get entangled and die. Orca's, grey and humpback whales, seals, otters, sea turtles, many fish species, crustaceans, birds etc. Per the University of Washington, there are 125 various "species of concern". The Puget Sound provides breeding areas, food, nurseries and resting places. The fishermen who make their living from ocean wildlife also have a major responsibility to preserve the ocean they also rely on. The statistics of how much recreational and commercial tackle lost every year is astronomical and poses a serious negative effect on our ocean. We are all responsible for preserving our earth because Good Planets Are Hard to Find 🌍
