Sparse eyebrows can be a challenge for many of us over 50. In this video I'll give some tips, talk about--and demonstrate--four different product options and also touch on additional options.

This is by far the best video I’ve seen on this topic. I have one eyebrow that is sparse and the other is so weird I can’t even describe it. I wear glasses and usually buy frames that just cover the brows so I can’t see them. 😃 but everyone can. I have a little drawer full of products that I can’t seem to get to work. This was very helpful - thank you Elise! I agree - filling in thinnish brows is the most important makeup for older women. ... it's the first thing I do in the morning. If I do nothing else, this one matters. The absolute best brow pomade (a splurge but lasts a long time) I've found is Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro! I am dark blonde/light brown and use Color 06, Copal. Best splurge pencil is Givenchy Mister Brow Powder Pencil, very soft natural look. A great precise brow pencil is ABH Brow Wiz. Thanks again!

Thank you for another helpful video! I have very sparse brows and the problem I have is that products tend to leave a waxy sheen on my skin. I just discovered a great powdery brow pencil from Gucci, it fills in my brows but doesn't leave it looking too waxy. I loved the way the powder looked on your brows!

Hi, Sharon--Tarte makes some great products. And thanks so much for letting all of us know about the sale! I just purchased an interesting product from them--eyeshadow stick on one end and eyeliner on the other which I think is such a great idea. Haven't tried it yet, but it will be in a future video. I love the stencils. I actually use it a lot because it makes it so much faster to do my brows! There are many different ones available on Amazon, but they all look pretty much the same. But being able to put it around your head with that elastic band really makes the stencil so much easier to use. All my best to you, Sharon.

Here’s an illustration of what happens when you go out of the house without your eyebrows. I went to Home-depot to pickup something for a project I was working on. So I wasn’t wearing any makeup after all who would I see at Home Depot. Of course a lady I knew came rushing up to me expressing sympathy and concern. She was grasping my hands (pre-COVID) telling me how sorry she was that I had to go through this. You see she thought I was going through cancer treatments because without makeup I virtually have no eyebrows. It took over a year before people stopped asking me how I was doing. I don’t go out without brows now. Lol

@@EliseMarquamJahns I have used Lancôme brow pencil in taupe for years and they just discontinued it. I have a dark blonde hair and the taupe was a great color. I actually don’t have much of my eye brows and what i do have is very light so they look like they aren’t there at all. So this video has helped me by giving me some choices to try thanks. I ordered a couple of different things to try. I’m definitely going to try one of the pencils and some powder with a brush.

Skip the stencils. Your brows looked so much better when you did the intro part of the video. My brows have always been very thin, now the hair is getting sparser. They are also fairly light. Currently using a very thin pencil, and a powder. Would love to find a gel that would look good, but so far what I have tried has been very disappointing.
