Hello my friend. Excellent video however I did notice a few errors you mentioned. Regarding soy milk and it containing phytoestrogen. Regular milk contains actual estrogen so if people are worried about soy they should defiantly not have milk. Regarding the environmental side. Soy beans are actually made for the animal agriculture, particularly cattle.around 6% of soy production is used for humans. Regarding almond milk. It takes 384 litres of water to make 1 litre of almond milk. However, cows milk on average takes 1020 litres of water to produce 1 litre. I've just become a barista so thank you so much for all the tips and tricks!

What do you think about rice milk ?

The Best is pea milk it has more protein and less water to grow unlike almonds which consume a lot of water in California.

I make almond milk at home. 125 grams almonds soaked 12 hours and run 3 minutes through a high speed blender with 1 liter of water. Squeezed in a nut milk bag and I get my liter of almond milk. I don't know how 384 liters of water would be used to make one liter of almond milk - even in a factory? I would think a commercial operation would want to be most efficient. Water is not free.

I hate steaming soy milk 😂 it 's a lot nicer at 50-55 degree celcius, it 's smooth, able to do nice latte art (but cant serve at that temperature, the coffee gets cold so quick). For the coconut milk, I find adding more milk while you steaming would make it smoother (or stirling it after could help the texture a bit smoother). Almond is ok for me. I love oat milk! Taste nice (thick and creamy, smell light and nice), so easy to steam and do latte art

People refer to them as non-dairy "milk" because they serve as milk replacements, not juice replacements. ^.^ Also omg you're amazing and thank you very much!!!

Thank you this is really helpful, im wondering if the oat milk has to be barista oat or if its okay to use normal oat? My work has only just started trying out different milk alternatives and we cant seem to get the oat milk to froth up at all its just staying flat, we can get the soya and the regular dairy milk to froth but not at all with the oat!

I too have been taken off dairy. I am struggling to find an alternative, both Almond and Oat alternatives are separating (curdles) after being steamed in my Aeroccino, once poured into my Nespresso coffee, all different various pods and well has having tried to use this steamed milk in Tea (Chai). I have recently purchased a new Aeroccina and the Nespresso agent told me it might be an older model, causing this? PLEASE HELP, IM DESPERATE FOR A GOOD CUP OF COFFE.

And speaking about soy its not dangerous and its also used by non vegans and to feed animal in farms. So please inform yourself more before demonize soy

So strange that people are scared of soy milk because of “estrogen.” It’s dairy milk that has estrogen in it, as well as progesterone, and growth hormone, etc. Phytoestrogen, which is not the same thing as estrogen, is in soy milk but it’s also in dairy milk, because guess who eats 75% of the soy grown in the US? Livestock!
