I came across this video in search of how to go about dipping my toes back into church after the past 20 years of being agnostic (on the verge of atheist) and considering returning to the church I grew up in. But I have trepidation about the experience. Oddly, your video gave me more confidence about it and I will likely be going tomorrow morning.

PaleBear good for you!!!!... try not to give up if the experience doesn't end up the way you hoped after seeing this video. It's possible that you may need to try a few different churches, before you find the right one for you. Better yet, if you are comfortable enough, try praying and just ask God to help you find the right church, nothing too complicated just a simple question. Hope things work out for you! God Bless! 🙌

I like the idea of a service host. So many people in Australia have not grown up in church and they get their concept of church from television, which is NOT like most churches.

Liked this video. At my church we do things differently. We start with 30 minutes prayer and declarations. Move on to worship for 15 minutes. Get in with welcome and greeting the congregation and visitors. And any announcements we have. From South Africa

Great information Brady! This is great for church security team members to see as well. Sometimes they have the first opportunity to greet first time visitors to their church! Thanks for your work on these episodes!

After the morning service we will have a pot luck lunch, which will be followed by prayer and medication. Due to the ongoing illness of our pastor, there will be no healing service tomorrow night. If you have young children and do not know it, we have a crèche upstairs.

Do you ask visitors to introduce themselves?
@leeannamcmillan5 жыл бұрын
Barb Haar I sure hope not. That sounds potentially uncomfortable for the visitor, which will most likely discourage them from returning.

Jesse Dodunski I took the question literally, like the awkward “stand if your new” question no one likes. But I’m all for acknowledging new comers! You definitely need to establish and practice relationship. That’s all the church is built on after all! ❤️
