Other chefs might not agree with his pov but since he was the one judging he said he applied that criteria. But like who would of known to not put flowers in their dish… That’s also why mapoli was able to be in the 3 people who got reinstated into the competition.

Napoli Matfia = Napoli Flavor Gangster. Word play creation of new word. *Mat* is from a Korean word for taste/tasty/flavor. So, Mat-fia (fia is from Mafia with "Ma" taken out and "Mat" added) results in "Flavor Gangster" from Napoli. Not about crime but everything to do with tasty foods.

I’ve been rooting for Napoli Matfia since ep 1. I think the discredit towards his win is ridiculous, all the finalists are phenomenal chefs, so if you have a problem with the final challenge, i think that’s the showmakers fault and not this guy’s.

I like Edward too but this ain't it. It's just a game show, winning or losing proves nothing about a chef's skill. Some cooks are specialized, some are much more creative. Doesn't mean they're not a great chef on their own merit.

In Mr. Paik's YT Channel, Napoli Matfia made something that what he would've had served if he were in the challenge himself. Mans made a fried pizza that replaced a ricota into tofu and it seemed to have deceive you well into thinking it was ricota according to Paik's reaction. He probably would be doing some sort of those things where the judges wouldn't expect the tofu to be in.
